Many valet employees at hotels make 7-10 dollars per hour plus tips, which can range depending on how busy you are and how many people are working to split the tips with. In an 8 hour shift at hotel in Omaha, Nebraska, I average 12/hour in the winter months and 15-20/hour in the spring through fall. Also, the graveyard shifts are generally paid 10-11 an hour due to less tips and the odd shift.

I work at a tribal gaming casino. We pool our tips together and spilt them in 3 different sections during the day. I make 8/hr base wage. the averages of our tips "cuts" are 3am to 11am: $5/hr , 11am to 7 pm $12/hr, and 7pm to 3 am: $20/hr.

Depends on where they work also. Casino. Hotel. Restaurant. Personally I work at a Casino with a base pay around 4$ an hour +tips. Also we pool tips so the person you tip doesn't get the reward for his individual efforts, instead the collective effort (and the guests generosity) determine their wages....

It is rare, mostly it is offered only by an Airlines training school like Emirates Flight Crew Training Center, or Philippine Airlines Learning Center and could last for 2 years. There are some colleges offering flight attendant courses in England. But from where I am, I am studying Bachelor of Science major in Airline Management for 4 years. I think it is the only school in the world that offers like that as often it is only for 2 years. You can also substitute in majors such as Bachelor of Science major in Travel and Tourism Management.

It depends on the airline, some may even reach until 50 years of age, but typically the younger you join the airline industry the more you will get opportunities in the airline, maybe as a flight purser for promotion.

Cabin crew MUST have at all times while working, Passport, valid medical license, aircraft type license. Visas are only required for MOST of the non Shengen countires, like United Arab Emirates, USA, Russia, China etc., The cabin crew visas are obtained fast and are taken care of by the airlines.

within the ""Flight Attendant"" career path there are advancement opportunities.&After working as a flight attendant for a couple of years, you can move on to supervise, then to a check Flight Attendant, then to a Supervisor of Flight Attendant groups, then a Base Manager (managing the entire flight attendant base) then to a VP or Director level position as Manager of Inflight.

Joining the cabin crew of an airline can be one of the most exciting jobs in the world. The airline does not have a height requirement. They do require that you also have to ensure that you can reach at least 212 centimeters or just over 83 inches on your tiptoes.

Ellen Church (September 22, 1904 - August 22, 1965) was the first airline stewardess (flight attendant). Church was a pilot and a nurse. Boeing Air Transit (the predecessor to United Airlines) wouldn't hire her as a pilot, but did take her suggestion to hire nurses as stewardesses in order to calm passengers' fear of flight. She believed that a flight attendant would help convince people that flying is safe. Church was hired in 1930 as head stewardess and was put in charge of hiring.

Cabin crews perform their duty in the cabin. Typically there is no cabin in cargo aircraft. Cabin area is replaced by main deck and no passenger to service. I don't think airline will assign cabin crew to follow flight to serve pilots and license aircraft engineer (if any) onboard.

Basically these people are exceptionally hard working, work difficult shift patterns, are very unsocial as they do have to spend time away from family and friends especially those on long haul. The role in basic is a waiter/waitress with retail sales and heavy customer service attached. Working conditions are cramped and can be very stressful. crews deal with people for up to 23 hour flights. They have a vast range of skills to have to employ and have to multitask continually whilst making the job look easy and "glamorous.
