Can you put laminate flooring in a bathroom?
This depends on the manufacture and the construction of the laminate flooring.
Generally speaking, it is unwise to put laminate into a full bath. The frequent humidity changes from bathing, the water from people exiting the tub, and the change of a catastrophic amount of water getting onto the floor is high.
A half bath, or a bath with just a toilet and sink, fair better with laminate. Although you still have to worry about the toilet over flowing or a water line breaking.
If you decide to put laminate into a bathroom or even a kitchen, it is best to use a siliconized caulk around the walls and toilet flange to prevent water from seeping under the flooring.
When was asbestos vinyl flooring discontinued?
Most Vinyl Asbestos Tile (VAT) was out of the system by 1979 however in an effort to make sure the wholesale & retail pipeline was all clear & without creating a financial burden on the companies with inventory they were given until 1984 to clear inventory & certify that it was all gone.
One other change was implemented to assure that the consumer & regulators could verify compliance.
Before 1979 most VAT tiles were 9"x9" after 1979 no one was allowed to make new tile with asbestos and no 9X9's were ever produced after that date. So if you see 12X 12 or bigger tiles you can be pretty sure they are Vinyl Composite Tiles (VCT) asbestos free.
Probably because you are using too much floor cleanser. I used to have the best cleaning lady in the world, but after she finished the kitchen, my bare feet would stick to the floor. I would wait until she left and wash the floor again with clear water and one of those microfiber rags. They really do get more dirt up that a terrycloth rag. I never told her because she was excellent in every other way! So sorry she moved to Chicago! I still wash the tile in the kitchen with just a splash of Lysol All Purpose cleaner in a bucket of water. To get off many years of residue, try rinsing multiple times with a water and vinegar solution, and one of those "Mr Clean Eraser" white sponges. I get the copycat ones at the dollar store. Change the water every time. You will be surprised how much "stuff" is actually on your clean-looking floors.
Is Dupont Real Touch Elite laminate flooring scratch resistance to dogs?
Dupont is known for having a very scratch resistant floor. Generally, if you keep your dogs nails trimmed and they are not 200 lbs, you should be okay.
It should be stated though that no laminate or wood for that matter is scratch proof. One down fall of a laminate is the limited amount of repair possible if a bad scratch does happen. It is not like a real wood floor where you can sand it and repair the spot.
How can laminate floor be installed over old laminate floor?
Firstly, you have to make sure the structural condition of the old laminate floor is sound. If it is not, then you would need to make repairs to ensure it is as solid as possible. You can easily damage your laminate floors by laying them on a weak foundation. You can either damage the board or the connecting joints. Once the old laminate floors are structurally sound, you can proceed with laying the new laminate floors as you would on any other flooring. Make sure you use the correct underlay. In this case, foam underlay would be suitable and it would be the most cost effective. Laminate flooring is the best option for rejuvenating a living space. It is cheap, easy to install and easy to maintain.

So number of tiles = 100800/256 = 393.75
