Why forests should be developed?
Trees give off oxygen to breathe so no trees=no air. More trees= lots of it They replace CO2 with oxygen. Oxygen is what we need to breathe/survive. They provide habitats for wild life. They clean the air of global warming gases.
How do you stay safe in a forest?
If you have a strong sharp knife you can find a slightly green sapling on the ground, with a diameter that comfortably fits your closed hand and gives you a better grip. Make it taller than you. Find one with a short fork on one end, and shave the other end to a sharp point, and if possible, fire harden the point. You do this by burying the pointed end in hot embers for a minute or two, rotating it slowly in your hand.
You also need to know what creatures are venomous in the area. You need to know what plants are edible, or how to test them for edibility, and what animals can be snared and cooked if you anticipate being there a while. You need some kind of shelter from possible adverse weather that may occur during your time in the forest.
You need to know how to signal for help with fire, signal with mirrors, if you happen to have one with you, a cd works like a mirror, signal with flashlights, or makeshift flags.
If possible it's also good to have extra clothes with you in case of a temperature drop. Otherwise know how to insulate your body with natural materials. Also make sure to have a plentiful water source if possible. If you can't do this, know how to collect water in other ways.
If you have little water, eat only a little food. If you have no water eat no food until you find water.
Well if it's a forest, of course there are tress in deciduous forests! Deciduous trees are the ones that change each season, and coniferous/fir trees are the ones that never die that you see in the winter.
A park ranger is in charge of monitoring park activity, checking for problems, and making sure there are not issues within the park.
If it didn't, you might like to get wounded. Then you would probably die from receiving too many wounds. You would be less likely to have children before dying. A species much like yours that doesn't like wounds would come to dominate the earth. They would probably make up a word for not liking wounds, and call it "hurt". Oh, wait. That already happened.
A wound / injury hurts because of the nerves in the area that has been damaged sends signals to the brain telling it that something is wrong.
This enables us to deal with the problem and stop it from getting infected / worse.
How does acid rain affects the rainforest?
It effects the rain forest by stripping the soil of its natural nutrients. Acid rain effects the trees by destroyinging the waxy outer coating of the leaves. As a result the leaves cannot absorbe the carbon dioxide needed to complete its photosythethis*.
*PHOTOSTHETHIS*- the process of which a plant makes food out of carbon dioxide...and gives out oxygen.
In 'Rebecca' why hadn't Maxim fired Mrs Danvers long before she set fire to Manderly?
Because Maxim was a "brooder" or "obsessor". So wrapped up in his own concerns, he didn't take the time to ponder anything else. Like his wife's unhappiness. Like the eerie Mrs. Danvers. Like Jack Favell lurking about.
