There is no national rule for this situation. The decision about attending the meeting would depend on the troop's rules, the troop leaders, and the parents/guardians.

It would also depend on the reason for not attending school. If you did not go to school because you were ill, you should not go to the Girl Scout meeting, either, to avoid risking exposing the others at the meeting. If you did not go to school because of an appointment, then you might be allowed to attend the Girl Scout meeting. If you did not go to school because you were breaking rules, then you should not be going to the Girl Scout meeting.

If you did not go to school because of the weather, then it is likely that the Girl Scout troop meeting will be canceled. Most troops have a rule that if there is no school due to bad weather, then there is no Girl Scout meeting, either.

There are four Girl Guide organizations in Belgium. In all four, the Guide uniform consists of a scout shirt and a scarf/neckerchief. The color of the scarf is specific to each unit.

OK, your daughter's (I'm assuming) height is between the 75th and 90th centile for age. This means that she is as tall as or taller than between 675 and 90% of girls her age. This is good. Her weight is approximately on the 75th centile for age. That means she is as heavy as or heavier than 75% of girls her age. This is OK, especially keeping in mind that she is taller than most girls too. The most widespread and accepted method we have of monitoring if someone is overweight or not is BMI or Body Mass Index. Your daughter's BMI is calculated by dividing her weight (in Kilograms) by the square of her height (in meters), so wt= 128lb = 58.06Kg ht= 5'5" = 1.65 m so BMI = 58.06/(1.651 x 1.651) = 21.3 for children under 18 yrs, it is important to correlate BMI to age, and this shows that your daughter is approximately in the 75th centile, i.e. her BMI is as high as or higher than 75% of girls her age, which is a healthy BMI. It is important to remember that your daughter is approaching the business end of puberty, and while you may think she is overweight, some (but not excessive) "puppy fat" is normal, especially before she has her pubertal growth spurt. If you would like to continuously monitor her height, weight and BMI, I have included links to printable growth charts from the CDC. Monitoring growth in this way can be a good idea, but it is important not to emphasise being 'skinny' or making her think she is 'fat', as this would teach her to obsess over her weight and is a risk factor for anorexia and bulimia. I am setting up a national association and I think to structure an association on an even broader scale may have some similarities. Here's what I think you need: 1. Planning meetings are required and they must be documented 2.The purpose of the association must be clearly delineated and a mission statement must be generated. 2. A board of directors or sponsors must be set up to oversee and support the org 3. There must be an executive director or group of directors, and other officers to handle the day to day matters 4. Headquarters for the association will be one main country in which most of the structuring documents will be submitted to that local and/or state and/or federal government and the taxing authorities for approvals to bring the association into existence. 5.
