No, gay scouts and leaders should not be allowed in the BSA because the BSA program has certain tenets that follow the belief in God and straight morals. The current interpreation of the Bible by the BSA states Homosexuality goes against these principals, therefore they cannot be allowed in the BSA program.

The Boy Scouts of America claims to respect and accept all religions and they require the leaders of each unit to attest that the scouts and other leaders uphold the tenents of scouting. The ban on gay leaders (they just now accept gay scouts) stems from the requirement that scouts be "morally straight". In my opinion, the only way to reconcile all of this, and truly respect all faiths, is to leave it up to each individual unit to define what is moral. Forcing any particular point of view fails to respect the others.

Girl Scouts do not sponsor a badminton championship. There may be local competitions or a troop or group may have their own competition, but there is no 'official' Girl Scout badminton champion.

Girl Scouts of America (GSA) no longer exists. It was started in 1910 in Iowa but was limited by a lack of financial resources and social connections which led to its eventual demise. It never grew beyond a few troops.

The brother group of GSA would have been the Boy Scouts of America at that time.

Girl Guides (and Girl Scouts) were originally started in the United Kingdom. Girls saw what Lord Baden-Powell was doing with the Boy Scouts and wanted to be Boy Scouts, too. Lord Baden-Powell thought that girls should have their own organization, so he and his sister, Agnes Baden-Powell, started an organization for girls which was founded in 1910, and called it Girl Guides.

Juliette Gordon Lowe met Lord Baden-Powell and became interested in Girl Guides, so she started troops near her home in Scotland and also helped start troops in London. She thought that girls in the US would also be interested in being Girl Guides so she started the first troop of American Girl Guides in Savannah, Georgia in 1912. A year later the name was changed to Girl Scouts.

There are no international or national data sources kept on the height of 11-year-old girls. However, an anecdotal account showed that at least one Japanese girl was 70 inches tall (5 foot, 10 inches) in 2006.

Also, the average height for 10-year-old girls in the US in 2002 was reported as 56.4 inches (4 feet, 8.4 inches), with a range of plus or minus 10 inches.

Once a cookie sale ends in one Girl Scout council, cookies which are left are sent to another council for their cookie sale. Unopened cases at the end of all sales are returned to the cookie baking companies. The Girl Scout council has to pay for any cookies they keep, so it would not be a wise use of funds to keep a lot of cookies instead of sending them back to the cookie bakers.

The cookie baking companies are also able to plan so that they aren't left with a lot of extra cookies. Girl Scout councils are able to contact the companies to request any cookies which are left.

Councils may keep Girl Scout cookies on hand or may request more from the cookie companies for a variety of reasons. If someone calls and says they did not receive their cookie order, the council will try to find out what happened, and may decide to replace the cookie order. They might also use the cookies for gifts, such as giving boxes to the delegates to the council's delegate assembly.

The youngest age level for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in Italy is 8, so they do not have a level that would be the same as Girl Scout Daisies in GSUSA.
