When I try to reset it again through Google's process, I fail to prove I'm the account owner by answering all the specific questions. Anything else I can try?

You almost certainly have malware that is redirecting your queries to a somewhat questionable destination.

... Well I Ask you, Whats the point in erasing it ... just stop using it ... wow ... lol

... but if you really need to, its in your account options. You can change lots of things like blockin ppl you u know, and you can change your password as many times as you want.

But if you cant find account options then you don't deserve to delete it.
