Don't use wheels! It will damage your guinea pigs spine and this can lead to death. Because when my friend got her guinea pig, she got it from a crappy store in the mall, and it had mites. If your guinea pig does happen to get mites, you get rid of them by shampooing them with special mite shampoo.

If you think your guinea pig has fleas you should either call a vet or go somewhere were you think you could get good advice, maybe going to a pet store and bringing your guinea pig to show them would help, they could maybe have a shampoo they could give you or tell you a way to remove them.

It depends what kind of cardboard. It shouldn't have any dyes in it, so like a toilet paper roll, umm im preety sure no corrogated cardboard either but not 100%..pretty much your thin, basic brown cardboard is fine. Paper bags are god too, as well as newspaper. hope this helps :)
