You must get her to get used to your smell by putting your hand in the cage and letting her smell it. You can play whither her/him when she starts responding to your hand in a good way and give her/him some treats but not too much so that she/he won't become obese. if she bites you the first time you should keep her in its cage in your room for a couple of days. after a couple of days try again and if she bites again try doing it everyday a little until she is used to you.

Cedar does not kill chickens. As a breeder of rare chickens, I use and have used cedar shavings for many years and have never had a problem. My free range birds roost in aromatic red cedar trees within the fenced property and although I have heard the above answer many times I have yet to see any empirical evidence that the oils released from cedar shaving does anything but make the chicken coop smell fresh and sweet.

People may be suspicious though if you are taking your hamster on a holiday, but if you are moving, then of course the hamster would come with you.

You cannot stop two hamsters from fighting. It doesn't matter what two genders they are, or how young or old. They will keep having that urge to fight with each other. The only way to prevent them from fighting would be to put them both in separate cages, each cage a large enough cage so they could each have enough space that they are comfortable with. There's that way, or you could always sell one if you wish to take that route.

• Dwarf Hamsters can be kept in female only pairs or groups.
• Hamsters enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables, but they like to bury there food.
• Give Hamsters tiny portions of food to minimize the amount left to decompose, and make sure you remove uneaten food daily
• Clean out the Hamster home at least every weak to maintain a healthy environment
• Also be sure to give them lots of love as they are real living creatures

If they are adults, you can identify a male by his testicles. If they're still young, you can tell the sex by the distance between the anus and the urethra: shorter on females, larger on males.

Sometimes hamsters lick each others bottoms prior to mating. If you don't want baby hamsters, I suggest you separate them.
