You cannot put two of hamster in the same cage unless they are dwarf. By saying full sized, you are implying they are Syrian. These hamsters would fight eachother because they are extremely territorial.

My cage, a Habitrail cage, uses a special wheel that makes a whoosh-whoosh noise. Truthfully, it doesn't really annoy me, but if it bothers you that much, move the cage.

There are high intensity/high power UltraViolet lights which can be produced to kill microorganisms using UVA radiation. these are being adopted in water treatment plants because it doesnt leave any harmful chemicals such as chlorine in the water. but these are thousands of dollars each, and would burn your skin from direct exposure. (very different from black lights)

What does a teddy bear hamster bite look like?
i made a mistake of touching my new teddy bear hamster while she was asleep. I was gently caressing her belly when she bit me in her sleep (she had her eyes closed). Next thing my finger was bleeding all over the places. The puncture wound was so deep that it took a while to stop the bleeding. Since then I've been too afraid to touch her again, asleep or not.
