How do you have a heart event on Harvest Moon DS?
in harvest moon ds to get a heart event, you must give a girl you like something everyday. take muffy for instance, give her wine enery day and sooner or later her heart will turn black then puurple, than blue, than the final heart event is a big orange then red
sorry, but that isn't a heart event. Muffy's heart events are as follows:
Heart Events
Black Heart Event
» Blue Bar
» 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Visit the bar and Muffy will start to ask you questions about what kind of girls you like. If you tell her that you like "cheerfull and pretty" girls, then she will be happy and mix you up a drink. The drink itself doesn't taste very good, but it's the thought that counts.
Purple Heart Event
» Beach
» 9:00 am to 11:00 am, not Wednesday, rainy day
Walk to the beach area on a rainy day and you'll overhear Muffy yelling. She is angry and pacing back and forth when you meet up with her. Muffy wants your advice and asks if you would listen to her. Tell her that you will and she'll start explaining.
Muffy heard from her parents that they are planning on setting her up on a blind date. They sent her a photograph of the man and she is not interested in seeing him. She asks you what she should do. Suggest that she "meet him and turn him down". Muffy agrees that it would of been wrong of her to completely ignore him and it would be more polite to tell the guy herself.
(In the Japanese version Muffy's parents were trying to arrange her marriage with the help of a match maker, not set her up on a blind date. The photograph was for the match maker. This is a common thing for parents to do in Japanese conservative society.)
Blue Heart Event
» Blue Bar
» 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, not Wednesday
Visit Muffy at the bar during the evening. Griffin makes all of the bar's drinks, and she would like to help out more. Griffin has made the drinks before, so Muffy thinks she can make her own new drink concoction! This should be interesting, especially after the drink she made you before. Muffy senses your reluctance and asks for your assistance.
Behind the counter she begins to mix things together. She asks you to pick the last ingredient to add to the drink. Suggest she adds milk and she'll finish the mixture. Muffy gives you a taste and this time it tastes pretty good! Muffy will see if Griffin will add it to the bar's menu.
After this event you'll find Moo Milk for sale at the bar.
Yellow Heart Event
» Exit your farmhouse
» 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Summer season, sunny day
Muffy will greet you as you leave your house. Today's weather is good so she suggests the two of you go out somewhere, perhaps a d-a-t-e? Tell her you'll go out on a date and the two of you go out to the Goddess Pond.
At the pond Muffy lets you know that this pretty pond is said to be sacred. She's glad to know that you feel the same about this spot. Muffy decides it's time to go to a new spot on your date.
You'll visit Kai at his summer food booth and he notices you two appear to be on a date. Kai says it'll be his treat so you get some food. Once your meal is over you both return to your farm. It's the first time that Muffy's enjoyed a date with a boy.
if you follow the criteria for, say, the first heart event you will experience the first heart event.
How do you get a stocking on harvest moon ds?
First you must befriend Nina till her fp(friend ship points) is 200. (for this part. it would help to have a love bangle which you can buy from the harvest sprite tree)Then give her a ball of yarn and it will trigger a scene where Nina will knit the stocking and it will be pinned to the side of your house for the rest of the game.
NOTE: I have been told that you must go to her house on a clear afternoon.
What are friendship points in harvest moon DS?
Friendship points show you how much a person likes you (for girl's that you can marry there are also AP or Affection Points which are different). You can increase a person's friendship points by giving them gifts often. This can also allow you access to new things. For Example, if you get Daryll's FP up to 100 or more you will earn access to his basement, where he keeps a mermaid that is eligable to marry. There are always benefits to being friends with the Valley folk. I hope this helped!

Where can you play harvest moon online?
Depends on the harvest moon you are currently playing, i believe one of the playstation2 harvest moon games has some sort of internet play (by play i mean trading livestock ect)
Almost all/all of the harvest moon games for the DS ( and yes i include rune factory as a harvest moon game) have wifi play, which enables trading and minigames, infact Runefactory 1 requires you to use wifi to be able to marry one of the bachlorettes
Most/all harvest moon games before the DS do not have internet/wifi play
I believe the new wii harvest moon game has internet play.
dispite what the previous answer claims, you can not use internet play for any of the harvest moon games using an emulator (Epsxe has internet play, but does not work often, PCSX (ps2 emulator) does not have internet, in fact the only emulators that harvest moon can be played on that has internet connection is the SNES, but said game does not have any sort of trading option. Though, i believe one of the old versions of no$gba did have internet support for the gba portion not the ds, and there is some very -limited- internet support for VBA, and currently no DS emulators have internet play either) so you have to have the original platform for the game to be able to play internet games/access internet content.
You can use google cashed.
1) search dscoders+THE GAME YOU WANT
2) look for it in the list and click the 'cashed button'
3) The links dont work but you can see the codes
Hope that helps :)

In harvest moon how do you use the mushroom shed?
Ok, here's the steps you need to take: 1) Buy a mushroom shed, a maker shed & a seed maker. ~To get a seed maker you need to get Adamantite (diamond-esque ore) from the 3rd mine & then call Grey to have a seed maker made. 2) Get some stumps. For this you need to chop down a tree & for that, you need either a blessed axe or an axe that has been leveled up. (I think mystrile or higher.) You can only level the axe up if you are experienced enough in it. (I.E., used it enough) 3) Get seeds from either the seed maker or from Vesta. You can pick the mushrooms up in the fall & use the non-poisonous ones, but there's a type (Shiitake) that you can only get from Vesta. 4) Put the stumps on the platforms & then plant the seeds on each stump. Eventually they'll grow bigger & bigger until they are ready to pick. (You do have to keep watering them!) However when the mushrooms are ready to be picked you should also keep in consideration that you can keep watering the mushrooms & they'll keep getting bigger & therefore make you more money. If you pick them, the mushrooms will keep growing back again & again.
