Grow up and stop believing in ghosts. You'll probably find that they go away after that

what a stupid answer how can you ignore ghosts?they will make scary sounds unless your deaf and they scare you like mad so i would move to a different house or live on the streets if you have no money! :-<

If you think your house is haunted, you should first try to determine if anything else can be attributed to what you think is a haunting. Instead of being haunted, can their be a natural reason for everything? Instead of being haunted, could someone be casting a spell on you?

If your house is without a doubt haunted, then ask yourself if the spirits are good or bad.

If they are good, you don't have to do anything. They may even be guardians there to protect you.

If they are bad, you should get help. Don't try to exorcise the house on your own. If they are powerful, you could get hurt. Go to someone you are comfortable with that is experienced in these things.

Not many people are around that deal with hauntings, so it may be difficult to find someone. If you can't find anyone to exorcise the spirits out, then focus on protecting yourself. Make sure not to use any sketchy means of protecting yourself, as this will backfire on you.

1. The White House
   • With everything that's gone down at the White House, it's no surprise that it's suspected to be haunted. Abigail Adams carries linens in the East Room, and Andrew Jackson, Dolly Madison, and the Lincolns like to check out how the current President is doing too.
2. Tower of London
   • A place with the nickname "Bloody Tower" isn't known for its innocent history. Anne Boleyn famously stayed in the tower prior to her beheading, and people claim to have seen her headless ghost roaming the tower.
3. LaLaurie House
   • Madame LaLaurie owned her mansion in the early 1800s until one of her abused slaves set fire to her house. She and her family left New Orleans forever after the fire, and the house changed hands - quickly - over the years. It was later converted into high end apartments, which we would never live in in a million years.
4. The Whaley House
   • The Whaley House in San Diego is one of the world's most famous haunted houses. It was built in 1857 by Thomas Whaley on the site of a public hanging. Whether because of this or just bad luck, the home was also the site of Violet Whaley's suicide in 1885 and other Whaley deaths throughout the 1800s.
5. Bhangarh Fort
   • The Indian government doesn't allow entrance to Bhaungarh Fort because of the events surrounding it in the 1700s. A magician was said to put a curse on the town when a beautiful woman spurned his advances, leading to war and famine. The visitors who ignore the government's warnings claim to feel a sense of unease around the fort...and yet they continue to come back.
6. Ballygally Castle
   • The Ballygally Castle in Northern Ireland was built by Lord James Shaw in the 1600s and is supposedly haunted today by his wife Lady Isobel Shaw. After Lady Shaw gave birth to their baby son, Shaw locked her in the castle tower. When she tried to escape to find her baby she tragically fell to her death. The castle has been converted into a hotel, one where you have the pleasure of having some ghosts has roommates.
7. Biltmore Hotel
   • George Vanderbilt has never left his home in North Carolina, the largest private estate in the United States. After passing away in 1914 he apparently decided to stay and keep his wife Edith company as she was heard having conversations with him by servants. George and Edith still entertain - and terrify - visitors who hear strange noises and have even seen George in his second floor sitting room.
8. Edinburgh Castle
   • Edinburgh Castle in Scotland is a favorite haunt of ghost musicians and their canine companions. In 2001, paranormal investigators shared evidence of ghostly activity including tugging of clothing, shadowy figures, and ghostly presences.

10. Raynham Hall
    • When Dorothy Walpole, resident of Raynham Hall, died in 1726, rumors of foul play abounded. People believed that her husband may have faked her death and trapped her in the home until she starved to death. Over 100 years later, people began seeing her presence dressed in a brown satin dress, including King George IV!
