You have enabled the closed caption feature. It comes in different types, CC1-CC4. One mode covers most of the TV screen and all you get is closed captioning text. Simply disable closed captions on your TV and your converter box if applicable.

Netgear Push2TV are designed with HD signals in mind and all have an HDMI connector. However, the PTV2000 also has a composite video output for use with any television that does not have HDMI inputs. The composite connection will operate at standard definition only so don't expect to be watching HD quality without HDMI connectors.

The unfortunate news that I learned today is Olevia is out of business. They apparently sold their toll fee number to a third party repair vendor. They offer prepaid repair for a $100 upfront diagnostic cost, plus you have to ship the television to CALIFORNIA. For my particular problem (that I see I could have avoided by checking the Internet BEFORE buying it) a bad power supply or main board, there is an additional $100 to 200 or more charge to fix it, then you pay to have it shipped back.

I did the math as they say and found I did not know enough about these new fangled televisions to protect myself. My expedience is with the old fashioned TVs that last until you toss them down the stairs and sometimes they still work. LOL

I am looking for local repair shops. If the price is too great. I will consider this one of the most expensive lessons I have ever learned about electronics.

A brand-new 29" LCD HD TV runs about $250 on a good day. You could probably get around that.

You might check the remote control, I have found a button stuck down slightly under the shell (case) and was holding a button down, constantly sendind an infrared signal. take the remote out of the room and them try the power button on the set again.

The Nikon d7000 should have came with a cable that will connect the camera to the tv and put the image on display.

No, the laser and the electronic hardware are very different.

Make a template of the rim circumference. Measure the length of the receiver to the deepest part of the dish.

Obtain a piece of clear ultraviolet resistant plastic and make a template large enough to include the receiver and circumference of the dish and add about one inch to the outer edge.

Obtain a bungee type chord and sew it into the one inch space.

leave a 2 in space where the ends come together.

Cover the dish and receiver and when there is a snug fit tie the two chord ends together with a square knot and finish sewing the opening.

Once the cover is in place spray with pam and wipe off residue. This will shed water and keep the dish dry. renew the spray once a month.

Keep on trying to eject it out with remote or manually on the unit.

When it does eject the tray out. Always leave a disk inside the tray. don't leave it empty for seems it more likely to eject out that way.
