Do you get visual through a scart lead?
A scart connector is a European standard for video, audio and control communication between domestic television equipment. It is used only for standard definition video but supports composite, S-video and component signal formats. It also carries stereo audio and a limited number of control lines.
The connection is often bi-directional to allow an output of a television to be routed to a video recorder as well as from the recorder to the television.
The scart connection is being replaced by HDMI in new equipment so the days of the 21 pin scart connector are numbered. The signals are compatible with those on phono (RCA) connectors so equipment that does not have a scart connector can still be linked using a scart to phono break out lead.
Which TVs are certified flicker free 3D?
The only TV that I am aware of that is "Certified" flicker free is LG's Cinema 3D TV. Their LW series models are certified flicker free 3D by INTERTEK. The test has been performed to prove a technical feature that has never been in doubt and is a marketing tool for LG.
The reason LG televisions are flicker free is because they use passive 3D technology which also reduces resolution to a mere 450 lines, in fact, less than the 576 lines of standard definition.
Active 3D televisions are also free of flicker if they are operating properly with glasses set up for use with the television.
If your girlfriend will not talk to you and you live far away what should you do?
"we are very far"? apart? I will assume you are far apart in distance and she isn't talking to you. I don't know how long you have been together, or how old you are, so this is a best guess as to what is going on here... . girl and boy meet, will love each other forever, then move apart to different parts of the country. I am guessing either not old enough to settle, maybe you offended her in some way, maybe she isn't a "one man" girl, maybe she just grew apart from you. who knows. give her some space and try again.

When slowing before sharp turn what can you do to gain added control?
In a manual /stick shifter drop down a gear to compliment braking action. Example.. while driving the wife last week collecting her as her car was off the road, we had to drive 300 yds down a sharp incline to make a 90 degree left turn at the bottom. Losing control as I braked, I dropped my auto trans 2 gears then applied light brake pressure, regaining control and making the stop. Ok its prob not the same as I think your talking more bout good blacktop and a right turn at say reg speed. But the theory is the same.. drop a gear helps slow..
A2: You should always accelerate slightly immediately after braking, and into the curve. Power to the wheels is control; it adds purchase, like sailing a powerboat into the wind. Braking is a loss of control.
PAL 60Hz is an unusual standard but one that was fairly common in Europe for a number of years.
PAL is the European color encoding standard and European video is refreshed 50 times per second, or 50Hz. NTSC is the North American standard for color encoding and North American television is refreshed at 60Hz. It is important to note that the frame rate is not related to the color encoding method used although by convention NTSC signals will be 60Hz and PAL will be 50Hz.
Some European televisions could handle 60Hz signals but did not had an NTSC decoder. For that reason, a range of video players were fitted with an NTSC to PAL converter. The conversion between the two is a fairly straightforward process and can be done with virtually no loss of quality. The conversion from 60Hz frame rate to 50Hz is a far more complex operation and difficult to perform without significant losses (a high end broadcast standard frame rate converter can be in excess of $50,000!). So, the video player was content to deliver a signal that was still 60Hz but encoded into a PAL signal. Many televisions could handle PAL 60 so the result was a full color image but using 60Hz signals.
Less common is NTSC 50. North American televisions have rarely been able to handle PAL signals because there is far less demand for European content on the US compared to US content in Europe.
It is worth mentioning that when material crosses from American to Europe, broadcasters will always perform a frame rate conversion as well as encoding into PAL so PAL 60 is never seen as a broadcast standard.
Once you own an HD capable Television you then need to contact your Cable or Satellite provider and tell them you have it and want to access HD programming!!

This is a common problem with most of the brands which make LCDs or LEDs because they don't use the good technology in their TV panels.
