I cannot help answer this question but actually have something similar on my forehead. About a month ago I noticed a small lump on my forehead just below my hairline and it was a little sore to the touch but I did not remember hitting my head or getting hit with anything. It has still remained the same size but the soreness goes and comes. I have debated going to my doctor because I thought at first it may just be a pimple that has not come to the surface yet but now that it is going on 2 months and still no change I am wondering what it could be. If anyone knows or thinks that it could be serious, please respond. Thanks for any help on this.

What to look for in a person with a head injury?
Head injuries can be mild to severe. Sometimes a blow to the head does not have to be that hard to cause surprising damage. Obviously loss of consciousness is extremely important. If there was any period of unconsciousness, the person needs medical attention even if they seem to be feeling fine afterward. There could be a small internal bleed in the brain that slowly leaks and may not show symptoms of trauma for a considerable period of time after the injury occurred. Concussions and bleeds are possible any time a person is struck in the head, ranging in seriousness. A person does not have to lose consciousness to have a concussion. Lethargy, confusion, nausea, vomiting, disorientation, vision problems including double vision and blurred vision, pupil dilation or unequal pupils are all definite signs the person needs immediate medical attention. Why is entonox contra-indicated with head injuries?
Entonox, a mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen, is contraindicated in head injuries primarily due to the risk of increased intracranial pressure. Administering Entonox can lead to the expansion of air or gas within the cranial cavity, potentially exacerbating brain injury or compromising cerebral blood flow. Additionally, it may mask neurological symptoms, making it difficult to assess the severity of the injury. Thus, safer alternatives are recommended for pain management in patients with head trauma.
