Backstory: When Gerald Robotnik and the Black Arms made Shadow the Hedgehog on ARK, Robotnik was furious because he needed the help to make it. He began trying to make his own, calling it Project Eternal. The project was a female hedgehog, and she would be able to skate fast and have a extended life. Since Maria had a disease called Neuro-Immune Deficiency Syndrome that kept her on ARK (if she lived on Earth she would die), Shadow stayed with her to help her. However, Robotnik was envious over having help from Doom He started working on his project to help Maria. Gerald ignored Shadow completely as he worked on her, the project (Sugar) was supposed to have special healing powers like curing the ill, etc. Sugar's eyes were originally meant to be purple, and she wasn't meant to be so clumsy/full of faults. Although, because GUN activated her too soon, she lost her true purpose. She was given the name "Sugar" since it was sweet and kind to heal people. But G.U.N. showed up before it was complete. Gerald told Maria and Shadow to escape while he tried to add the final touches, but he was too late. G.U.N. opened her container before she was complete (which is why her pupils are white; messed up). They took her back to Earth, erased her memories to think she was just a 16 year old hedgehog, that she was from Mobius, and chaos controlled to Earth like everyone else. She was given special shoes (ice gems that let her have her ice powers) and goggles (so she can protect her eyes in the sunlight) for her adventures, seeing how all the other 'animals' had come with powers and Sugar did not. Later on she gains her memories back and seeks out vengence apon G.U.N. She is now often seen around Shadow in many places..
