As part of that, he used the Jews as economic scapegoats, but he was helped by two common beliefs of the time. One was widespread anti-Semitism anyway, reinforced by the pseudo-science of 'eugenics'.

it's spelled torture. and the concentration camps had small cells with rough cots as beds and were often bug infested with way too many people to a cell. they had them work in factories and killed some of the prisoners when it became overcrowded or just because they wanted to.
Who found the concentration camps after the war?
As the Allied troops moved forward into the areas that had been occupied by the Germans they found the camps. There was no way to hide them or the people they had tortured. In some cases they tried to load people into box cars to hide them and then move them into a remote area, but they were more worried about escape than the deeds they had done. I had a professor in college who was an American army officer in WW2 and he was in a group who found one of the camps. He stated that the Germans were at afternoon mess when they found it, so they went in and shot the Germans as they sat eating lunch. Today people can visit the camps so we will never forget what humans and do to other humans.
