I have read one place online that the book is about 115,000 words long, and 170,000 words long some where else. Regardless of which is correct, the average pace of a person reading is 200-250 words a minute (reading, not skiming) so say you read 225 words a minute. If the book was 115,000 words it would take you 8.5 hours to read, and if it was 170,000 words it would take about 12.5 hours.

She just likes it. You could flee in your own little world where everything is possible - and when you put in on paper, you can make other people happy by telling your story.
