How old is Silvertone guitar model 310.14109?
Well considering the Silvertone Guitar was made at around the same time as the Skittle Trumpet which was created by professional Trumpeter David Smith, it would be approximately 56 years old.
Which is better Gibson Baldwin or epiphone?
Gibson Baldwin is an educational series Les Paul Style Guitar. They have some budget features hence the low price, for example "bolt-on neck" instead of "set-in neck". Interestingly, they have the trademark Gibson "Open-book" Headstock design. Usually this design is reserved for Gibson USA models. Not even the Gibson Epiphone series has this style headstock. Made in China however Chinese instruments are gaining a positive reputation, quality from China is improving rapidly and the Gibson Baldwin is good value for the money.
What the value of antonius stradiuarius cremonenfis faciebat 1730?
Simply a violin made in austria. One of a million copy of Stradivarius violin...
Its worth jack squat dude. There's lots of guitars out there, and yours in not unique. You might find a chump to pay $150.00 for it but that's kinda greedy cause you can get a totally new Gemini III for that. Plus the Gem 3 is better than the Gem 2, in my opinion. I don't know why people think their old junk is supposed to go up in value. Wouldn't you rather have a new guitar instead of someone's old one? I mean come on. Okay okay maybe it's worth like $50,000.00.
Lazarro is a good clarinet for beginners as well as some intermediate players. Also note, the instrument is only as good as the player as well as a technician to services. These two factors should also be considered when comparing brands. You can have a very nice brand such as buffet crampon, but not have the proper set up on it which of course make it a very frustrating instrument to work with. Yes, there are some brands of instruments that should be avoided as far as the first instrument. Lazaro is not one of them
What is better a B.C Rich Warlock guitar or B.C. Rich Virgo guitar?
Go to a shop that sells both. Play both, one at a time, and through the same amp. The one you like better is the better guitar for you. A Virgo is more of a sit and play. The Warlock is slightly awkward to sit with because of all the angles.
How many Stradivarius violins were ever made?
As of 1902, 540 violins made by Stradivarius were known to exist. Also: 12 violas, 50 cellos--and two guitars. According to:http://www.geocities.com/ganesha_gate/strad.html
As of 1902, 540 violins made by Stradivarius were known to exist. Also: 12 violas, 50 cellos--and two guitars. According to:http://www.geocities.com/ganesha_gate/strad.html
The above is inaccurate. It is known that Antonio Stradivari made about 1100 instrument is his lifetime, about 540 of which were violins; not all of the violins survived. As of 1902, about 650 Stradivadi instruments were know to have survived and been authenticated, but only about half of them were violins. (Stradivari also made violas, cellos, guitars, and harps). The total number of authentic Stradivarius violins still in existence at present is probably something around 300 or fewer.
Affordable, high quality guitar stands can be purchased at a variety of online sites and retail locations. Guitar Center, Wal-Mart, Target, Amazon, and eBay all sell this item for reasonable rates.
What is a Laurentius storioni g fecit cremona 1720 violin worth?
That depends on a number of factors.
1. The instrument may indeed have been made in 1720, or it could be a repleca of an instrument made in 1720 (which is far more likely) and in such a case, the value may not be as great as you might expect.
2. The quality of the instrument's craftsmanship goes a long way towards its end value. If it was hand made, that's a plus. If it was made by a reputable maker, that's even better.
3. The actual age of the instrument. The older the violin, the more it is worth, typically.
4. The current condition of the instrument plays a huge role in value as well. If you have a cracked back or face, or if the seams are opening up or if the fingerboard is cracked or warn down the value drops significantly. One can drop a lot of money into repairing an instrument to playable status.
5. The quality of tone, resonance, and responsiveness that the player can get out of the instrument also plays a vital role in how much players are willing to pay for the instrument. And believe it or not, players will pay far more than collectors ever will... because it is their livelyhood.
The best way to determine the worth of an instrument is to take it to a reputable repair shop and have it apraized. If they tell you it's valuable, you can have it repaired and sold, or you can keep it for yourself. However, it's always good to have quality instruments be placed in the hands of someone who is capable of playing it to its full potential.
I did happen to find one instrument, a Laurentius Storioni fecit Cremonae 1790 Douglas Cox 2001 Brattleboro Vt #438 that was being sold for $16,000 USD from a dealer. The link is below:

How much is a Bundy Selmer flute serial number 85675 worth?
Well you see, everyone wants a newer flute that plays better not an older, used vintage flute. That's why newer flutes are so expensive! Yours is most likely from the 70's. Since Selmer is a very common and not-so expensive flute brand of flute your best price range is worth around $40-$60.
**I also have a Selmer vintage flute and its serial # is 258130 I got it for
$70 at a local music store.
Will a Gibson Les Paul custom pickguard fit an epiphone Les Paul custom?
yes, but you would have to drill and screw holes into your guitar. take the pickguard and place it on the body of the guitar. take a sharpie and mark the holes onto the body. drill a TINY hole to allow the screw to go in easy. after that put the pickguard on and screw in special wood screws with a screw driver manually...not with a drill. hope this helps
What is the value of a Lowrey Parade M-375 Organ?
Honestly, it's hard to say. Lowrey has been producing organs for several years now and they are constantly updating their technology and improving. The M-375 is indeed a great organ, it has decent animation sounds with the flutes, and the rhythm section is not bad for an organ of its age.
Honestly, it has the old technology for the ez-play today music so in the eyes of that aspect, its not worth anything. You could possibly sell it to a person who is looking for a practice organ that lives in a smaller place.
As for value, no more than $200

What is the value of an Aspen AD35 acoustical guitar?
The Aspen AD35 made in Japan is one of those best kept secret guitars that is now getting the recognition that only a choice few were privy to until recently. It is the flagship top of line acoustic for this company intended to compete with Martin's D35.
Original owners generally state an average purchase price of $300 new in the mid / latter 1970's. to get in indication of the quality & pricing of the era, I paid $275 for a new us made Martin D28 in 1972. So that was a lot for money for a MIJ guitar of the day.
Many have noted that in spite of the post Brazilian Rosewood International ban, this model was often constructed with solid Brazilian Rosewood ( Japan is not known for it's compliance of International bans (ie) contemporary whaling.
Excellent craftsmanship of the Aspen AD35 as well as the all solid high quality tone woods have made this acoustic Dreadnaught survivor sought after by players and collectors alike. It's signature sound is rich and full and very close to Martin's D35.
Pricing as of 2011 is on the rise. Asking price ranges from a few hundred dollars to as high as $2000 as noted on the net. One went on the market a few months ago and sold for $750 very quickly. Depending on the condition, expect to pay $500 to $1000 for one in good condition. They are sometimes found at yard sales, flea markets etc on the cheap but getting rare.
It is important to note that Aspens AD35 model is unique to the companies average builds. Most if not all the other models fail to share it' all solid quality tone wood construction. The Aspen AD35 is the cream of the companies crop. Most, if not all of of the lower end models do not share it's value. Be sure to Look for the Gold Foil Aspen Label well marked AD35 with a corresponding serial number.

What are the pros and cons of the Ibanez S series?
Its kind of a general question, since the rg series has many different models.
Here is a quick list
pro: confortable neck, decent pickups, locking trem (350 and higher). versitile. Ibanez Rg is good for metal, rock, jazz and so forth.
con: cheap materials. Tuners and the metal used for the locking trem. The knife edges which help the trem go back to the neutral position often wear out quickly. After they are worn the trem cannot go back to the neutral position and tuning stability is lost. They would need to be sharpened, but the trem is replaceable. Often even on the fixed bridge guitars tuning is questionable. It may take effort to make it work right
Why do you put a blanket in a drum set?
Blankets are commonly put inside the kick drum to change the sound. It is usually used to dampen the sound to give a tighter low thud. Also prevents the sound from having a a higher toned sound from the kick drum heads from rattling too much. Some drummers prefer and old pillow. Feel free to try different objects and find the sound you like.
Is fender good for acoustic guitars?
Yes the fender guitars have great quality, as long as you buy one made in the USA or Mexico. China and Japan make fender squire guitars but they are cheaply made and don't last as long. If you are looking at buying a fender guitar then look at a Mexican or American stratocaster. That is one of the best guitars that fender makes and the best places they make them. The Mexican strat. will last you about 3 to 5 years and the USA strat. about your whole life. Hope that helps.
I agree, definitely go for a strat
