How much is a Baldwin organ model 48H worth?
A Florida owner of a Baldwin model 236 is giving it away at no charge: tampa.craigslist.org/msg/447746918.html I assume that in general, any Baldwin electronic organ has little monetary value. However, why not list your organ on eBay and see what happens. +-+ Very, very little, if any true value. Sorry. If you are to donate it to a thrift store, claim $100 for tax purposes. +-+
What is value of a 40 yr old Baldwin acrosonic piano?
It would depend on its condition. It would be advisable to get it tuned first, if it is not regularly tuned. Then, call a local music store for an appraisal. If you get it tuned regularly and there are no problems with it, you can probably get a pretty decent price though. Notes:
-The piano will not be worth more than what you bought it for. Steinway pianos are known for this characteristic, but this is not true in the case of a Baldwin. -Appearance will also play a role. If the piano looks shiny and new, it will increase your chances of getting a sale. -Cleaning the keys or having them cleaned will also give an aura of newness.

guitars cost a lot because most are handmade so you pay for labor, plus the internals are all pretty expensive, and then you have to pay for it to get shipped, and all of the companys want a profit and then when you buy it from a store they want a profit to so its cheapest to buy offline

What is the difference between a epiphone Les Paul custom and an epiphone Les Paul standard?
The studio Les Paul wasn't designed for stage performance so it's appearance is what suffers. It won't have that nice, carved top that a regular Les Paul does, it won't have a fancy finish on it, and it won't have fancy fretboard inlays like the regular Les Paul's. The quality of the wood is somewhat degraded, as well. This is due to the fact that it won't have a transparent finish applied to it, so nobody will see the grain. The detrimental effect that all of these will have on the overall sound of the guitar is negligible, at best.
What is the value of a Hammond organ model 9812M?

How much is your Alvarez guitar worth model number 5082n serial number 93376?
I sold one of my two for about $650 on Ebay within the last two years. It was in excellent condition and included the original Alvarez hardshell case. Given the current economy, it's hard to say what you could sell one for. Mine have built-in transducer pickups beneath the bridge, as many do (if you can put a 1/4 RCA plug into the strap button, you're in business; it's passive). If I were to be selling it again today, I would expect anything from $450 to $800, depending on demand. These Alvarez acoustics of this era are excellent instruments of top-notch materials, built by master craftsmen in Japan under the supervision of the much acclaimed Yairi family.
Where is the serial number on a Kohler Campbell upright piano?
June 4, 2008 San Diego, CA On my 1933 Wurlitzer 4' 8" baby grand piano, the serial number is visible on the right side of the wooden sounding board, while facing the keyboard. It's carved (impressed?) about 8-10" left of the side of the piano case & about 2" above the wide varnished foundation of the music holder. Other Wurlitzers may have the numbers in other places but your tuner should be able to find it and thereby determine its year of manufacture. "Pierce's Piano Atlas" has a chart determining Wurlitzer age from serial #. I found a copy in the public library reference collection. Hope this is helpful- rgsfield

How much is your Alvarez model 5048 s worth?
If the guitar was made in the late '80s it could be worth no more than $500.00 if the guitar is in mint condition, $200 if in fare condition. These are rare guitars. Alvarez did not put many out per year. The Alvarez model 5040 was made with a laminated koa top and laminated mahogany back and sides, and, I think, at different times, with a laminated spruce top. If it suits your ears, hands, and eyes, that's all you can ask of any guitar. And the value is only whatever some buyer is willing to pay for it, which is only important if you're buying it, selling it, or insuring it. It's a cool, good-sounding, playable instrument. If yours is a koa model, it has that distinctively different and pretty koa look as well. Hope this helped!

What is the average price for a full size nylon string standard acoustic guitar?

How much is a 1957 fender telecaster worth?
I own a totally original that has been appraised at over $64,000 (by an expert independent appraiser). I have observed two E-bay sales in the last three years at $49,000 and $63,000. A true original is advertised very rarely. Mine is a documented, unmodified, fully oiginal guitar, acquired new in 1953 complete with original strap, case and tweed amp. I personally, would not part with it for less than $100,000.
Be aware that the vintage market is a lot like the stock market! The values will change drastically. E-Bay is not always a good resource for vintage gear. I would contact Gruhn's Guitars in Nashville Tenn to get a accurate value.
They are world renown for their expertise on vintage guitars and amps.
As a Fender Authorized Service Technician I always call on them anytime something of this nature shows up.
Good luck to you...

How can one tell if a violin is a true Stradivarius and not a copy?
It's not impossible to come across one but very rare: what makes it possible World War II the spoils of war if prominent wealthy holders were jewish then that would be key. You would find the makers markers label most removed to smuggle and second pray it was maintained over the years (it must be played to maintain it's sound and kept in ideal conditions) commonly loss of label for smuggling and poor maintenance it most likly loose any potential as a $3 million dollar instrument most are really fakes selling the notion as surviving the holocust and Hitler's regime. If it was well there is a registry of jewish stolen properties so good luck!

What is the value of a Gibson les paul Jr?
you can get a used one on eBay from almost 1000 dollars all the way to 13000 dollars. it all really depends on how rare the guitar your getting cost.
What is the value of a 1980 Gibson les paul custom?
A 1972 Les Paul Custom with completely original parts, no repairs and in great condition could possibly sell for 4000-5000, maybe more, depending on the market at the time. But, since most instruments of this age have some playing wear and repairs made (and or needed), you might only get a couple thousand for it. You'd get more money selling to a private party instead of a dealer, but that can be more of a hassle and riskier. Pictures could help narrow down the price. Steve
What is the value of a Wurlitzer organ model 4020?
hard to say depending on condition, then there's also the fact that that particular model organ was designed and made available as a kind of student type made for less money to target a cheaper market than say a 4400 series etc ..and the sounds are ok but not super nice sounding as it uses a basic rc coupled amplifier tone generator with extremely limited tone shaping and instrument sound simulation. on the other hand, and on the positive note (scuze the pun) that particular model along with others from around the same time period use what have turned out to be extremely rare and valuable parts to the internal workings of the organ like amplification and even some of the hardware parts like the 3 CRL 18672 3-way selector switches which are nearly identical to the #1452 switches designated and found in the Fender Stratocaster's and Telecaster's from the 1950's making those switches rare and valuable in a collector and boutique market. There 3 of the CRL switches total in that organ so Ching! you just cashed in at about $65 x 3 = $195 (approx.). Now lets look further at what else is inside these treasure infested organic items from americas past like the literally $100's in vintage capacitors not the least of which are the fabled and highly coveted - rare and extremely valuable "Bumblebee" .022 @ 400vdc Sprague Capacitors! (Also used in the extremaly valuable Gibson Les Paul electric Guitars aproximately around 1957-59 which is what most likely gives them their high price value) There are approximately 5-6 of these caps that came stock built into the amplifier and tone coloring unit 1-2 in the amplifier and 3-4 in the latter. I have personally had and sold these caps for giant bucks in the past (i'm all out ...COL! :(... ) and have since seen these particular caps go for up to $95 each (again, depending on condition) so you can safely assume there's at very least another $100 in just those 4-5 caps alone Cha Ching! you do the math from here on out. Ok, moving right along we then turn our gazes upon the tone generator without waisting anymore time cuz those neatly uniform preamp vacuum tubes look suspicious & delicious ...all 32 of them! might as well grab a calculator at this point. lets see... 32 vintage 12ax7 usually 1958 RCA Black (or Grey) "long plate" which easily go for 25-45 each all day long if they test good which is the probable results due to an under worked factor designed for reliability of function purposes. and that's just what's in the tone generator not including the 4-5 exact same tubes (usually) on the power amplifier ..go ahead and add it up. Im up to $1490 so far and that's a rough figure. so, let us carry on and see what else is available like the hundreds of vintage Good-All & more Bumblebee's!! caps that if you were to extract every single one of them and put them to market on eBay should probably (by my experience of having done it several time yet) go for about $150. these organs often came stock with 1 Jensen P12R alnico 10 watt speaker at 16 ohms which depending on the condition, usually "minty" due to being well preserved into the organ cabinetry is worth any where between $45-$85-$105 depending on where the ever fluctuating market might happen to be that month or year. so id go with a solid $75 to be fair on all accounts. now the amplifier usually has 4 12ax7 RCA long plate (grey or black) preamp tubes one for a phase inverter another for the vibrato circuit another to preamp the tone coloring box input and another for the bass pedal preamp. so there's 4 more highly sought after tubes (if the tubes haven't been switched out with some other type cuz of servicing some time in the past which could mean better or worse as far as worth for the tubes) if the original ones are still intact and still being used. so add on another $100. Now the amplifier has 2 x 6v6gt for the output and uses one 6AU6 rectifier as well as 2 x 6av6 preamp tubes for the line level input section tube which is another easy $150 worth in tubes if they test strong. so we had a total estimated worth in components of $1890. and it is sort of funny that even today you can still find one of these for about $100 or sometimes $10 or even sometimes for free. so, to answer your question of how much is the 4200 Wurlitzer organ worth? …anywhere between free and about $1500 if you're willing to put the work into persuading someone to buy it for it's worth in parts. hope this helps you.
