How much is a copy of antonius stradivatius faciebat cremona 1713 made in western Germany worth?

I have one too... if yours is in playable condition, it might be worth about $750 or thereabouts to a violinist. Early in the 20th century, there was a folk movement for more pastoral times. German luthiers made modern-day interpretations of lutes and violins, etc. My violin (by BKN) is a nicely made copy of a 1721 Stradavarius, albeit several machined metal parts give it away as a 1920s-1940s build. The violin may be worth more to a history buff or antiques collector.

What is an Antonius Stradavarius Cremonentis Faciebat Anno 1719 worth?

It depends a normal one sell for around 200 dollars but if it is a hand carved instrument made out of high quality materials it could be worth $10,000 like the copy that I own.

What kind of equipment is needed for music studio please could you list by numbers what is needed?

I always start with a really comfortable chair. Seriously. Ask anyone who has spent hours mixing down the perfect track -- you can't do good work if your back hurts.

OK, there is a lot of amazing digital recording equipment you can search for online but you might want to check out a couple of industry magazines to get a feel for what is currently on the market and how people are recording the kind of material that you wish to record. Try http://mixonline.com/, http://emusician.com/, http://www.keyboardmag.com/, or try contacting some studio designers. Even if you can't afford an ace designer you may get some guidance on where to get more info. Start with a plan. Do you have a place? How big is it? Is it soundproof? Private?

If you are working with up to maybe 4 performers at once (remember, you need comfortable chairs for everyone) you can get a simple computer-based system with a couple of mikes and possibly a mixer if you need it. Get an Apple Macintosh system if you can, but a PC system can also work. Another option is to consider standalone digital recording consoles that include inputs for mikes and instruments, a mixing panel, and a hard-drive storage system which puts most of the equipment into one package. You can even burn your own master CDs on some of them. AKAI, SONY, and Alesis companies come to mind. If you have keyboards and electric guitars you need cables to connect to your mixer. If you have voice or acoustic instruments that need microphones, don't forget the cables, and some microphone stands.

Also, don't forget that electronic equipment works best when it has a clean, steady supply of power. I recommend getting an isolation transformer and power conditioners for each studio component. On a computer-based system, get an uninterruptible power supply, try http://www.apcc.com/products/family/index.cfm?id=23 for example, to reduce the chance that you would lose data in the event of a power blackout.

You may need to be able to play back your material over loudspeakers, so don't forget some sort of power amp and some studio reference speakers. A home stereo won't do. Check the magazine websites mentioned above for reviews and product information. Studio reference speakers are very neutral speakers that give you a clear playback of your material. Home stereo speakers, boomboxes or PA/concert systems will add a certain tone to the material that will cause you to mix a certain way, that will in turn sound bad on a different type of system. To mix material that will sound just as good in your iPod as it will in your car or in a big room like a church or disco, you need studio reference speakers.

There is a lot more to cover but use what you have read so far to get started. When you have questions, use the discussion page and there are a lot of people out there that can help. Good luck.

Is a jay turser jtlt guitar a good guitar?

Yes Yes Yes. Jay Turser makes great guitars. Don't get fooled by the price tag Jay Turser makes great guitars. If you ask me I would buy an off brand guitar any day. I just think that Gibsons and Fenders are just such a cookie-cutter guitar that they aren't fun to play, because everybody has them. If you like Jay Turser then you would also like these guitar manufacturers, Danelectro, Peavey, Silvertone, First Act, Squier, and Teisco. My personal favorite two guitar in my colloction of 12 guitars would be my reissue blueburst Danelectro U2, and my rare 2005 Squier 51 Vintage Modified guitar. Both of these guitars were bought for under $250, proving that you don't need to spend your hard earned cash on a $3,000 Gibson or a $5,000 Fender to get a good guitar. Its not what you play it's how well you play it that matters.

What year was the Bundy Selmer trumpet serial number 502055ML manufactured?

Date of manufacture approx 1972/3.

Selmer Bundy is the name given by Selmer to what was originally the Bach 1001 (one of which I still play, having bought it new in the early 1970s).

ML is not part of the serial number but denotes that the instrument has a medium large bore.

The one that i have is on the underside of the key that about half way down the flute sticks out and does not have cork on the bottom. It is also near the top on the thin piece of metal that runs down the middle for all the pieces to attach to.

Where can you buy a cheap flute?

This depends. Firstly if you live in the city there may not be any starter flutes that cost under 500 dollars, so you may need to leave the city a bit and buy from a local town. And second, if you need a starter flute there should be some rather good ones for under 500 dollars, but if not, you will have to go above 1000 dollars. Starter flutes are only if your starting.

Is Les Paul Gibson standard better than Les Paul Gibson studio?

If you are looking for just hard rock sound, go with the Gibson. If you like Fender's strat/tele bright sound AND fat rock sound, go with the PRS. I found Fender fans tend to like PRS guitars.

What drums should you buy?

Pearl drum sets are a high quality and recommended by many drummers, but it's mostly up to the drummer to decide which sound he/ she want there drum set to sound like. but with the sound the skins also play a role. But if you want a top-end drum set you should probably go with pearl or ask the employee at the music store (where u are thinking of purchasing the drum set) what he/ she prefers.

What is a good quality beginners violin?

There are many good starter violins, but without doubt the most popular and deservedly so are Stentor Violins. These come in a range of sizes to suit every beginner, are affordable, surprisingly high quality and can withstand the rigors of the starter violinist!

How wide is a Les Paul?

According to the 1962 edition of Rolling Stone magazine, published article by Edgar Winter, Les Paul was known to stand a cool 6'8" 'sogging wet' as Eddie Van Winter would put it. But some of the more modest reports regarding Les' Tall Paul were that, erect or not, the man cut a rug standing just shy of 6'2".

Of course these estimates were made during the height of the jitterbug craze of '57 when Zoot Suiters were known to hunch while swinging their Zoots to the beat of Santana's #4 album. Rob Thomas was interviewed in '92 after Santana's exquisitely smooth hit, The Right Stuff with Boys to Men starring Mark Faraday. In this interview, episode 27 of Pop up Video on VH1, Mark Thomas, Rob's younger brother who also starred in the band with Santana's Right Stuff, is quoted as saying,

"When Uncle Les and Rob and me all used to get together around the annual tire fire out in the backwoods Memphis nights each Christmas, Les looked like a giant of a man who breathed the wind into the world with his smoove voice, crying Mary before Jimi were knee high to a grasshopper. It would make a man slap his granny to hear such a powerful man stand above the world as he did, at his full height of 7'1", as if the great Andre The Green Giant were alive before us on those sweltering nights."

And so you see, Mark Thomas, godson of Les Paul but no relation to Stephan Miller, has painted the most accurate portrayal of Les' Tall Paul as it were, fully erect, for us to reflect on for the stature of a man who sadly had come into the world afflicted of polio in his earliest years. But, just as Johnny Winter had corrected his brother in that 1962 Rolling Stone report, it was Les who knew the polio would be a wicked great style in later years and was actually very fortunate to have had some of the earliest shirts from Ralph 'Polio' Lauren before they were a hit with the new wave artists of the 80s. And we all know the history of the Paul fortune from there - simply history. Marko Polio, aka Marco Thomas aka Rob Thomas' brolio, is known to polio for sholio. Snizzle.

7"1' - Les Paul was 7"1', I believe.

What is the weight of a Wurlitzer piano ser 1518833 model 2126?

How good is the bc rich metal master Guitar?

looks cool but its a fancy BC Rich warlock bronze series, if you can get it for under 300$ your getting a good deal.

comfortable, light , very versatile pickups but metal comes from you, so switch the strings and put a low tuning. But honestly though keep saving up, the best warlocks right now that are affordable are the IT series ones, 100$ more online but you will like it 10x more.

metal comes from within though, thick strings, knowing what to play.. those sort of things.

How much is Baldwin organ 121w worth?

Some of these models appear to be selling for $150.00.

How much is my restored wurlitzer 3100 jukebox worth?

The 1050 was a short run Wurlitzer towards the end of their run prior to being sold to a European company. It doesn't have the high end trim/materials in the earlier versions but it is still a very collectible model. I've seen them be appraised in good condition for $3500, slightly higher for exceptional condition. That would be the price a collector may be willing to pay, but likely you'll be looking at 2500-3000 for a serious buyer willing to shell out the $$.. Good luck.
