Help setting up a linksys wrt54gs card to wifi without the router or CD I have lost the CD and the router doesnt work. I have a modem that sends out wifi and i need a download link for driver?

A wrt54gs is a router, not a card.

If you have the modelname (and possibly the hardware version) you can find all necessary linksys drivers on the related link below with the label Linksys.

Finding driver of any other make or model is simple. Just google for driver and the make and model of the particular router.

Ow do you take the passcode off of an 8 gig ipod touch 3.1.3?

If you know the passcode, you can go into Settings > General > Passcode Lock after you've entered the correct passcode. If you don't know the passcode, then you'll need to do a restore. Instructions from Apple's support site follows.

Use the following steps to restore your device:

  • Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed and running before attempting to update.
  • Connect your device to your computer.
  • Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices.
  • Select the Summary tab.
  • Select the Restore option.
  • When prompted to back up your settings before restoring, select the Back Up option (as seen in the image below). If have just backed up the device, it is not necessary to create another.
  • Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you (as long as you've backed up your device, you should not have to worry about restoring your phone).
  • Once the restore process has completed, the device restarts and displays the Apple logo while starting up.
  • The final step is to restore your device from a previous backup. Once your device is restored and-in the case of the iPhone-in the process of activating, you should be able to see the following in iTunes.
  • Note, if you don't have your passcode, you may not have already had a backup, in which case, you'll need to start up a new iPod Touch from scratch.

How long does an iPod touch 5th generation last with a full battery?

There is not a fixed amount of battery life, so it is impossible to say the exact life of battery, however there are simple ways to extend battery life.

Remember that as it is used more, an iPod's battery life will shorten if not charged properly - always charge it when it is lower than 20%, at 0% if possible, and try and not charge it so it is over full.

Make sure apps are closed after use - double click the home button and close the apps that appear at the bottom.

Reduce screen brightness when possible, Turn of Bluetooth when not using etc.

I suggest installing 'Battery Doctor' - a free app that extends battery life when charging and gives tips to reduce battery consumption.

How come your ipod touch isn't showing up on your desktop when you connect it?

The iPod touch does not mount a volume like other iPod models. This is normal behavior.

What are the legal steps in a charge off?

The creditor is required by law to charge off an account after it has been delinquent for 180 days. The account is usually bought by a third party collector for 2-3 cents on the dollar. The collector will proceed with collection action for the entire amount of the debt plus interest and any fees that are allowable pursuant to the state laws where the debtor resides. If an equitable repayment agreement cannot be made, the collector may submit the account to a collections attorney who can then file a lawsuit in the state where the debtor lives. There are also collection attorney firms who have been granted arbitration status. That involves a somewhat different procedure...Macky (macky83@juno.com)

What cord do you use to plug into the computer that downloads your songs on your apple ipod?

For most iPods, the cable used to connect an iPod to a computer (Mac or PC) is an iPod USB cable. On the iPod end, there is an iPod dock connector, and on the other end, there is a USB connector. There have been (and are) several exceptions as of this writing (November 2007): The original 1st and 2nd generation iPods were only available for Mac, and connected via 6-pin to 6-pin FireWire (IEEE 1394a) cables. These models had an actual scrolling wheel that moved, and are arguably the iPods that most resemble 'bricks'. The 3rd generation iPod was the first model available for use with Windows, and is distinguished by the row of four round buttons below the screen, separate from the clickwheel. This model came with an iPod USB cable and/or an iPod FireWire cable, and could sync via either interface. The 4th generation iPod did away with the four buttons, and was available at first in black and white, then in color as the 'iPod Photo.' This generation could also use both iPod USB and iPod FireWire cables for syncing and charging. All iPod mini models could also sync and charge on both iPod USB and iPod FireWire cables. iPod shuffles (1st generation) had a USB plug built right into them, and could plug directly into a USB port. The iPod shuffle (2nd generation) has a custom dock that ships with it. The dock has a custom cradle with single plug that resembles a headphone plug that charges and syncs the iPod shuffle on one end, and a USB plug on the other end.

What are charge offs?

Charge offs are accounts that have been written off by the creditor as uncollectable. The debt owed is still valid and can be collected on either by the original creditor or by a collection agency. You can only erase charge offs by disputing them to the credit bureaus or negotiating the removal by the original creditor.
