well, it depends:

- to download things, acsesss the internet, download from the app store or itunes, play some games or use some apps, check your email, check the weather, and use facetime and imessage, u will have to be connected to wifi. u can connect by tapping settings, then tapping wifi, and then choosing one of the options.

- however, there are a ton of fun things u can do on your ipod touch without being connected to wifi! u can take photos, record video, use most games and apps, take notes, and of course listen to music!

First you've got to into the settings menu... an tick 'MOVIES' then go back to the main screen... there shuld be a new word 'MOVIES' click on that... there should be youre movie... it its not check its a MP4 format... if not it deffanately wont play... but that's only for the new i-pods... the thinner iPod nano... will NOT play movies...! Yes, it backs it up, and syncs all applications automatically...To sync another phone with these same applications, go to its profile (the iPhones) and go into the Applications tab, click the applications that you want synced or the sync all button, then click apply in the bottom left corner of the window. Then click sync in the same place where the Apply button was directly after you hit apply.
