The advantages of an iPod is clear: it is simply extremely well working and is extremely creative. It has tremendous storage capacity, and has very easy sorting and playlist creating. It has great music quality and can hold MP3,M4A,M4P,AAC,AAC+, and Apple Losless music fromats. M4P is iTune's exclusive purchased music format. The iPod's menu is also very nicely designs, and has an intuitive click wheel (and a touch screen in some cases.) It also has incredible battery life and most models are very light and easy to carry. Some ipods even feature WiFi, e-mail, maps, YouTube, etc... However, there are many disadvantages. The better iPods are fairly expensive, and only come with a 1 year warranty ( a person i know had their iPod break in 1 year and 1 month! go figure...) Also, battery life decreases over time, and iTunes is sometimes slow and unresponsive with the ipod.

Plug it into the computer. Get on Itunes and check the songs that you want to delete. Then at the top of the screen hit delete. Or you can just delete them individually.

You need to make a folder of the pictures you want and save it on your computer. Then plug your ipod touch into your computer and pull up itunes. Click on the picture of your ipod. Look at the little headers and find the one that says photos. The rest explains itself

It's possible that the maximum number of authorized computers (5) has been reached. If you're the one who originally purchased the music, you can go back to the Music Store, de-authorize all computers and then re-authorize the computers you want to be able to play the music and try it again. The other possibility is to play the music into your computer and record it using one of the many free ripping programs out there and then the music will not have the restrictions mentioned above. Some apps require a certain version that you might not have. To know what the version needed for the app is look at the Requirements when you press on an app and go to its info page before you buy it and waste time.

As for total RAM, the latest iPod Touch 4G has 256MB, whereas the previous models have less. I doubt there is separate video ram but it is a small amou8nt if any. I'd guess it just uses a small portion of the flash RAM. That is probably part of the reason the actual capacity is less than stated because some is probably allotted for graphics and the like.
