Depending on your iPod, one way to do the transfer is to simply set your computer so hidden files and folders are shown, then to acess your iPod as if it were any other hard drive. So you open it up and somewhere within the iPod will be a folder named something like "music" and within that will be folders marked (I've found) f#.

The only problem is sometimes the encryption used to store the music doesn't convert properly so you get loads of 4 letter songs. The way to deal with that is to right click and sellect settings on the track and change the decryption type.

There are also many programs which will allow you to transfer. Some free, some with a 10 song trial sort of things, some with a purchase fee. But the way I've told you above is easy and normally works well.

the reason i say depends on your iPod is because I've only used this on the 2nd generation iPod, the 4th and the iPod nano and shuffle. haven't used it on the latest touch, nor the latest shuffle and nano.

well actually the lock button for the ipod 2g is on the left side but for the 4g its on the right so its pretty pointless

The number of files is limited by disk size and the file sizes. iTunes can stream from files up to 4GB. Basically, The larger your hard drive, the more songs you can store there. But iTunes can link to external hard drives and USB Flashdrives at the same time, so if you have external drives and a hub, there is no limit.

You can set up iTunes in its preferences to either copy songs into your iTunes library, which limits the library size to the size of your hard drive, or have iTunes link to files outside the physical iTunes library, which means you can connect as many drives as you can and link to as many songs as you want. USB chains can be very long, and there could be a problem with the USB setup if you change the locations of the drives, but as far as iTunes goes, it is probably limited by what can be indexed by the system, which is probably in the millions.

To delete an app press your finger on it and don't let go until all apps begin to shake. Once they are shaking, an 'x' will appear at the top right hand corner. Press on that 'x' to delete the app. Once you are finished deleting, press the home button to stop the apps shaking.

Yes. You must first load the CD onto your computer through iTunes, and then move the CD onto your iPod.

iPhone 3g is an iPod touch and more. I don't see why you'd want to turn it into an iPod touch, even if that was possible.

^^^ that answer is lame. Best I can figure so far is to pull out the sim card, restore the phone to the basics, and keep it in airplane mode with wifi turned on.

Well u may be able to restore it. Try plugging it into your computer using the white cable provided when you bought it open up itunes and it may show up. If not you will have to put it in dfu mode. To do this hold both the sleep button and the home button until you hear a noise (turn speakers up) this will either put a white screen on or an apple. Once its done loading it should show up on itunes. You may have to click on where it shows your iPod and restore it back to factory settings

first it is called burning and second, this is for windows media player. Open the burning tab, then find the songs you wish to burn. Then click and drag them to the right panel and it will show the song. Then look at the bottom of the panel and click burn and enjoy!!
