How do you work an iPod Shuffle?
I don't know about the 2nd and 3rd gen but I know the newest.
First on the top of the shuffle we have the plug. You use that plug for the usb cable (charger) and you plug that into your Apple computer to put in songs from iTunes. Then the headphones, you probably know what to use that for. We can also use connectors to connect the music to an iDog or speakers.
2nd we have the VoiceOver button. We love the VoiceOver. You simply press it to hear the current track and artist's name. Press and hold to hear the playlist menu, and then lastly, press twice to hear the battery status. Several controls on just one little button, right?
The last button is a switch. It is not neccesarily a button but it is a switch. Move it to the left and it shuffles your music. Move it to the middle to play in order, then move it to the right to turn it off.
We also have buttons. It's really easy to use and I'm pretty sure you know how to use already. Press right to go to the next song, left for the previous song, middle for pausing and unpausing, top for louder, bottom for lower.

What are the harmful effect of IPOD?
There are several potential dangers.
Loss of hearing - that's due to user irresponsibility, not the manufacturer
A danger not often thought about is that when the iPod was more expensive than it is today, people would get mugged for them. It would be the trademark white earbuds that gave away what a person was listening to, making them easy targets.
Yet another possibility is any electronic device, including the iPod, that uses a lithium-ion battery. There was a period not long ago where there was some shoddy manufacturing done overseas involving impurities in the lithium liquid where there were some metal lithium shards contained within the battery. If the shards make contact, they can spark, causing the famous "exploding iPod/exploding laptop/exploding cell phone" you might have heard about in the news. But the odds of it are practically nil, which is why when it happens, it makes the news.
Another danger is that when you wear an iPod, you're totally unaware of your surroundings. This can be very dangerous.

At the bottom of the page there will be a section that says 'Options'. On one of the boxes it will say 'Manually Manage Music', click that box so that a check mark shows up. Do you have to use iTunes on apple iPod?
Yes, when you get it, first thing you HAVE to do is connect it to iTunes. And you have to use iTunes for syncing music, videos, movies etc.
It depends. There are many variables that could dictate the answer. There is no "one correct" answer. * If the material in question provides a royalty-free, public use and public redistribution license, then it may be repackaged, given away or sold as long as it does not violate any explicit restrictions provided. In most cases, if you unsure, contact the content author/owner for clarification. This is often most helpful should legal issues arise later. * Most sound recordings are not available under a royalty-free, public use and distribution license, and their copyrights won't expire until 2067, so any copying of those recordings would technically infringe the copyrights. Selling them would be a federal crime (or perhaps state crime, depending upon how old the recordings are), with fines. Marking them with the names of albums or artists could also be a trademark or publicity rights infringement. Any profits you earn would be taken away, plus penalties, costs and attorneys' fees.

This ipod manage software can transfer the files from ipod to computer, ipod to iTunes, and iPod to iPod:
Super easy way to get your hands on your ipod songs: open my computer, file e: (when ipod is plugged in), go up to TOOLS, Folder options, View, and click on show hidden items (apple hides and scrambles your song list.) in e: click on ipod_control, music, and you should see "F#" these are the scrambled song titles. transfer to your desktop, and do whatever you want with your songs! great for transferring songs from one ipod to another! don't forget to turn hidden back off, don't wanna delete something you need! An alternative way is to use an iPod-to-iPod transfer program to help you. I recommend iPod 2 iPod. It enables you to transfer music/video from one iPod to another in a direct way.

How do you delete songs from your iPod shuffle?
The first thing you need to do is plug in your ipod. Then you need to delete the songs you want to delete from your ipod from your itunes music library. You do that by clicking on the song (make sure it's highlighted) and then pressing the delete button on your keyboard. Once you are finished that, there is a bar of selections on the left side of your screen on itunes. You go down to "DEVICES" and double click on your ipod. It should come to this page that says the name of your ipod. When you get to that page there is another bar of selections on the top of the screen. Click on the music selection. Then you click "Sync Music" and then you click "Entire Music Library", and then anything else you want to select. Then at the bottom of the screen on the right, there is a button that says "Sync". Click that button, and wait until it is done syncronizing. The songs you wanted deleted should be gone. If not, sorry I couldn't help you.
