well i would suggest going to the the apple store website (uk or us). they have arrange of different categories of ipods: ipod touch, ipod classic, ipod nano and many more. they also sell great cool gadgets for all types of ipods. ere im not sure about any where else sorry hope i helped you....xxxx

jjpjimmy: Compared to the available media players, ipods are the most simple to use thus they are the most technically simplified. Other competing companies are Cowon, Archos, Scandisk, Creative, Microsoft, and many other companies. All of which have innovations that Apple products will never consider or have taken ideas from.

Are they good compared to the other companies? By the end of the day, not at all. Low battery life than the other media players available. Low sound quality, however improved in the newest Ipod nano, Low Sound output power and the mandatory iTunes, although that is avoidable.

If you're considering buying an Ipod then look into other products. However remember that all companies have their ups and DOwns. Cowon, Korea based, for example has a very good reputation for Sound Quality and Battery life along with an extensive list of supported codecs. Yet their User Interface has been very primitive though out their players. It has gotten better with the COWON s9.

As a side note, I had an Ipod Mini 1st gen and 2nd gen which i have rockboxed to get the most out of them, such as being free from iTunes. They were a pain in the ass because even after a battery replacement, it would only operate for a maxiumum 8 hours. And on rockbox, that's nearly a miracle. When i got my Cowon S9, i was blown away at the massive battery life of nearly 3 days of music. Now i can turn on the DSP, Digital sound processor, and take advantage of what they've provided me.

If u have an WiFi connection around u then,

1.Go to settings

2.Then go to WiFi

3.Click the network u want to connect to

4.If a password is needed put in the wep code (its located on the bottom of wireless router, this is an example of one.......[4653782716]

5.When u are connected u should see 3 light blue bars at the top of ipod that looks like 3 little waves

6.If the waves are blue u are connected to internet.

do u have Windows Media Player on ur computer? Well if u do then u click on it and there are tabs up at the top u will see a now playing, library, rip,burn, sync and guide. u click on Sync. make sure ur mp3 is plugged in. on one side of the page is for syncing ur player that is the left side. and on the right side it has the devices that it can sync on. ok if u go over to device thing it will bring up ur mp3 it is called Audio Player.u click on it and below it will list the basic things on ur player like Music, Videos and pretty much the be the Menu. in front of the words will be a + sign u click on it and it will display the artists u hav on ur player their will be a + sign in front of them 2 so u can see the songs. But heres where u delete click on the song or artist then right above where it says Audio Player there will be 4 buttons the third one is the delete button.

The simplest and cheapest way would be to use a casette player with headphone out or line out, a 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo cable and your PC. I'd recommend a gold plated jack cable.

You could then plug one end into the casette player and the other into the Line In or Microphone In on your computer, and use a free program like Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) to record it. You can then save it in various formats, and burn it to CD if you desire.

Be aware that the volume you use is very important. If you're not careful you could get "clipping". In most recording programs (including Audacity), you will notice two bars showing the volume level. You want to ensure the sounds from the player do not go into the red at their loudest point.

Remember that the quality recording you get will only be as good as the casette itself.

No you can't. The only possible way to get your money back is to view your purchase history, report a problem on the thing(s) you don't like, and then contact apple about it. They should give you a reply within 48 hours. If not, just wait a day or two and then try again. Hope this helped!

I have an iPod Nano so the way this works mightg be different. Normally, if you have pictures in My Pictures will automatically be on your iPod when you sync it. If there are pictures on you iPod you don't want on it after you have synced you iPod, connect it to your computer, then select you iPod in the 'Devices' on the left collum, then select the photos tab and you should be able to get only the pictures you want on your iPod, on your iPod, if you have them sorted.
