Weigh the following:
Given a normal pill weighs x and contaminated pill weighs x+1
4 pills from jar 1
3 pills from jar 2
2 pills from jar 3
1 pill from jar 4
Total weight if all normal: 10x
If total weight is:
10x+4 then jar 1 is contaminated
10x+3 then jar 2 is contaminated

10x+1 then jar 4 is contaminated
What is the average result in an intelligence questionnaire test?
The "average" result on an intelligence (commonly referred to as "IQ") test is considered to be the mean. This is usually 100, but not all IQ tests have standard means and deviations. Sometimes, the mean or "average" of an IQ test is adjusted by "renorming" if the original norming proves to not be accurate after a larger sample is obtained.
Is 113 IQ good for a 13 year old?
It is slightly above average, and IQ has nothing to do with age. Your IQ would be the same no matter how old you were.
-thanks for the answer
What is going on if hurt to pee in think white discharge is coming out of virgina?
If you are having painful urination and unusual discharge it's probably a good time to go see a doctor, the internet can't provide you with the information you need. especially since this sounds like a new thing.
IQ124 is only (1) above IQ123 and is the normal for Persons with at least a bit of common sense.
What is an average 12 year old's IQ?
I got 101 IQ is this good? I did another test and got 156
It has everything to do with age. Normally, a person's IQ should be at 100, at average. But, say, if a 6 year old got 100, they would be considered smarter than an Adult who got 100. This is because an adult should know more than a 6 year old. So, for a 12 year old, 100-110 would be average, and anything above that is above average.
something else im eleven and i scored 159 on the IQ test and my name is marissa
nice im 12 and my IQ is 125
Wow... this Google accounts thing has quite annoyed my name. Anyway, I'm not sure about this answer. I think you may be reffering (however you spell it) to the Stanford-Binet scale, which I THINK is obsolete. I think. So says Wikipedia, so don't shoot the messenger. In any case, no offense, but I find 159 on a modern IQ scale (whatever it is) a tad hard to believe. I believe Einstein had 160 IQ, which does tend to... seem a bit odd for an 11 year old, even an advanced one. I checked up on one of these free online tests and I scored 126, I believe, which suits me fine. I've always known I'm reasonably intelligent, so that sort of reflects what I thought. Anyway, I doubt anyone's ever actually going to read this, but, I might as well.
I'm 12 years old with an afforementioned IQ.
That was pointless but strangely satisfying.
Angus
Those answers really shock me. I took a test and i got 68, but i took it again and i got 75. (im 12)
IQ scores are normalized by age, thus theoretically if you got an IQ score of 100 (normal/average) at any age you should always get an IQ score of 100 throughout your lifewhenever tested, no matter how much you learn or what degrees you get. In actual practice deviations in score of about ±5 points are not considered statistically significant. However remember that the only thing an IQ score has ever been shown to consistently predict both reliably and accurately is the ability to score high on IQ tests.
By constantly learning and seeking out new information.
Answer:
An IQ test is supposed to give an unbiased analysis or rating of intelligence with "fudge factors" for age and culture.
Parts of what this test measures are innate - essentially how your brain is wired - this part is essentially fixed and cannot be improved, Neither drugs or surgery will help as we don't know that much about the workings of the brain.
However doing the typrs of questions in an IQ test (math quizzes and word quizzes and spatial relationship problems) is in fact a learned skill. After several hundred examples a person tends to catch on and do them better and faster - he's not smarter, just more experienced.
Given this, it is possible to get higher scores on an IQ test by practicing IQ test type problems.
However you probably were that smart all along. Now you are that smart and experienced and the score you achieve will reflect this according to the rules of the game.
Is 120 a good IQ for an 11 year old boy?
Well, the average IQ is 100, so 120 is classed as "above average". So it is very good, yes.
It's normal. But if you took the IQ test online, it probably wasn't accurate. The only way to get an accurate assessment of your IQ is to take a test at school or somewhere done by a professional.
Is 90 a good IQ for a 14 year old?
Sorry but it is rather low, but near the average, also age is not a factor in most calculations of one's intelligence quotient.
the average iq score tests range from 85 on the low side to a 115 on the iq test the average is about a hundred. you can raise your iq score through" brain training" and focusing on mental use.
Is 121 good enough on an IQ test to get into MENSA?
This question can not be answered. The answer depends on the test taken. The requirement is a score in the top 2% of the general population. This can mean 130 on test A, 132 on test B or 140 on test C. If you check with the Mensa office in your country and know which test you did, you can get the answer.
Another opinion:
What is said above is true. Where I live, you need 131+ IQ according to the Wechsler scale to get into Mensa. I do not know whether this applies internationally.
What is the average IQ for a 29 year old man?
100 (the average IQ is 100 by definition). However, there are different average IQs determined by region of the world. In all actuality, the average IQ of a person from the U.S. and from European countries is ~98. The average of East Asian people is ~104. The average in the African countries is, unfortunately ~70. Finally, I found that the average IQ in the Middle East is ~86.
What is the average IQ of a 16-year-old male?
The average IQ of everyone is 100.
See the related links for a site that has some basic facts about IQ, for more information.
Is 132 a good IQ score for a 11 year old boy?
WOW that's really good i got 132 IQ score and im 12 years old(girl)
Highbrow culture refers to intellectual culture. For example, those interested in highbrow culture might go to the opera or to the orchestra.
The slang term comes from the psuedo-science of phrenology, where the size and shape of the head supposedly defined the talents and capabilities of the individual. Those with a "high brow" or high forehead supposedly had greater cerebral size, compared to "lowbrows."
Why do geniuses have terrible handwriting?
They have far more important things to focus on than handwriting. It's more like they don't care to be more presentable to the lesser mortals.
Very very very true.
They're introverts!
Alternative answer approach: What data might you have to suggest that geniuses have terrible handwriting? This technique of asking a question assuming that the topic of the question is a fact with no supporting documentation is a common method of propaganda.
Sadly for the country, the recent (2010) elections was fraught with such techniques.
Where can you find free medical billing test?
Where can I downloead a free medical billing questions in preparation for a test?
All IQs are good to the extent that they are accurate measures of learning potential (and opinions on this question differ strongly).
But what constitutes a high IQ depends on the test; top scores vary.
What was Albert Einstein's IQ?
Albert Einstein's IQ was above average, in the 120-160 range, but no one knows for sure.
The estimated IQ of Albert Einstein is 160. An IQ of 160 places him well within the parameters of being a genius.
A fair test is the goal of many an enquiry. A test should not be biassed by the selection of subject, by the test method itself, nor by the method of analysis.
Is 105 a good IQ score for a 13-year-old girl?
Well, the average IQ for an adult would be about 100, so, an 1Q of 105 would represent a somewhat bright person, in my opinion. For a 13 year old girl, an IQ of 105 is actually great and has a high probability of increasing during years of later development.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry, but I don't agree with that.
The IQ test for an 13-year-old differs from the grown-up version. In this way, it's designed to give you a representation of your intelligence, whatever age you have. Like most things, having an high IQ can means you also have an higher chance to have autism.
In you case your IQ score means "above average" since 100 is the designed average, no matter the age. Of course this only works if you did the test for your age group, other wise you may get low results (40-80). If you did the wrong version, I'd sugest you'll do the test over.
NOTE: Your IQ score may in later years drop or rise by 15 IQ-points
Is 106 a good IQ for a thirteen year old female?
It's pretty much normal (just over the average, which is, of course, 100).
Make sure that you take your age into consideration when you calculate your score (unless it's online -- there you must take care to put in the right age).
