What is Moral Decay in Religion?

I think that this question can be answered in two ways. One is the moral decay of a, individual religious person. One who rejects that which one had to go the way of the world and adopt its ways. Or where the Religion itself with all of its members turn away from their beliefs and go the way of the world moral decay takes over.

The second is the religions view of the moral decay of the world in general as apposed to its own righteous beliefs and righteous actions.

Why does everyone think that Muslims are terrorist?

It seems like a trivializing term for something so terrible, but terrorism is something of a fan among Muslims. This is not to say the it's universally adopted by them, nor that no other group uses it; however, whereas when Irish thugs kill old men and children, as the IRA did in the bombing of Lord Mountbatten's yacht, or a renegade group of Amish start attacking their political adversaries, there is prompt and widespread condemnation from members of the terrorists' own societies, in Islamic countries, terrorists are often looked upon as heroes: governments pay their families huge bonuses; mothers name their newborns after them; the pictures are displayed in parades and their suicide tapes are endlessly replayed. Just as negative stereotypes in the West (drug dealers, pimps, con men) are embraced by some minorities, the idea of being a terrorist (which they call a "martyr") is attractive to many Muslims who see it as a path to revenge for Western slights real and imagined, glory and fame, and, of course, the various sensual delights promised by Mohammed for those in martyrs' paradise.

Why do Muslims look like ninjas?

Answer 1

Islam is a universal religion. The Muslims belong to all races, all colors, all sizes and all shapes. All human beings are the off-spring of a single couple-Hazrat Adam (AS) and Hazrat Eve (AS). The Muslims are found all over the world. They wear the same dress as all the people of their area put on. No particular dress is prescribed in Islam. It does ot behove (suit) a person to make fun of another person. The criterion of superiority in the eyes of our Creator is piety, not color or caste.

Answer 2

Muslims do not look like ninjas except at a very basic level, which is that Muslims and ninjas cover more of their bodies than Westerners typically do and are fond of black as an outfit color.

Muslims do it out of a sense of piety and some Muslim women shroud their faces to avoid causing men to have impure thoughts. Muslims also have very loose clothing in order to hide the exact shapes of their bodies, again for the sake of piety.

Ninjas do it in order to more effectively blend into the shadows and disguise themselves from being seen. Ninja cloth is typically form-fitting or tied closely to the body to allow maximum maneuverability.

What do Muslims wear whilst in Mecca?

for women: They wear the clothing that they are allowed, per religion, to wear in other days but preferred to be white colored. This clothing, per religion, should cover the whole body ( including head, hair, and neck) except face and hands that should not be covered. The clothing should be neither tight nor transparent.

for men: The special clothing for hajj (pilgrimage) is composed of two pieces (usually white colored). One piece to cover the lower part from naval to after the knees. The other part to worn on the shoulders and coming down. Both pieces should be tailored to describe the body.

What are the main Holidays in Shiite Islam?

they have same holidays of sunni Muslims. but they have also Ghadir holiday that is considered the most Important holiday of Islam by shia Muslims.

shia and sunni have mostly same beliefs and both believe in fundamental beliefs of Islam. today there is up to 260 sect in Islam that are in two category of shia and sunni.

shia believes in Allah, prophet and all fundamentals of Islam.

shia pray 5 times a day but usually do the 2,3 and 4,5 pray together and so may seem they do 3 pray a day. there is some differences in details of pray like how to hold hands in pray and on what do the genuflect (for shia should be on a stone or part of earth and for sunni on carpet or floor ).

shia believe after death of prophet God selects the successive for prophet who is the leader of Muslim community and people can not select it.

shia believe the Caliph (Representative of God in earth after prophet) is appointed only by God and can not be selected by people because God said in Koran: "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." (Quran 2:30)

this means only God can select an Islamic leader.

in shia they are only fourteen infallible (12 Imams and prophet and his daughter Fatimah Zahra (sa))

and all of them are the same and have no mistake and have the knowledge of everything (this knowledge is from God and by permission of God and is not absolute knowledge. absolute knowledge is only for God and they still do not know many things. but they know anything human may need to know.) and they never die and they hear all sayings and even thinks of all humans after their death by permission of God and they are intermediates between God and human.

and shia Muslims always support them and forgive their lives for them.

shia Muslims do not consider selection of Abubakr as Caliph valid because God did not select him. they believe God ordered prophet to declare Ali is selected as successor of prophet (Quran 5:3) and prophet did this mission in Ghadir event that was in last Hajj of prophet in his life and prophet did a speech for 120,000 Muslims participating that Hajj with prophet. the famous shia book Al-Ghadir is a collection of evidences and proofs for Ghadir Hadith from 100,000 sunni references and read all of 10,000 sunny books. one sunni scholar said if we want to reply Al-Ghadir book (by Allameh Amini) we should first destroy all our books.

Shia doctorin has root in Karbala. when tragedy of Karbala happened most of iranians became shia.

How was Islam introduced to Malaysia?

Islam was introduced to Malaysia by Arab/Muslim traders. Due to the need of spices by Europe at the time, and the fact that the Europeans had to travel through the Middle East, Afghanistan and Persia to get to the spices, the Muslims had the plan to control the spice growing. The Muslims knew if they had the spice markets, then they controlled the price aswell. On the way, these men and women practiced their beliefs (i.e. Prayer, Fasting, Charity, etc.) and this interested many indigenous populations. They started to learn about Islam while the traders learned the knowledge that the people already their knew, like medicines and architecture. It is even thought that some of the Sahaba (Companions of the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sala'am)) visited Malaysia, after all, there was a delegation of Muslims sent to the Emporer Gaozong in China by the Caliph Uthman.

Why drinking alcohol in Islam is a sin?

Answer

Drinking alcohol is a sin because it is forbidden by God and his prophet Mohamed (peace upon him). Quran says (in meaning translation):

" O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks) and gambling..... are an abomination of Satan handiwork. so, avoid (strictly all) that abomination in order that you may be successful. Satan wants only to excite enmity and hatred between you with intoxicants (alcoholic drinks) and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of ALLAH (God) and from the prayer. So, will you not then abstain"

[Quran, chapter 5, verse 90-91].

On the other hand, there is no health benefit of drinking alcohols but it is waste of money. Drinking alcohol has many negative health effect.

Drinking alcohol is also sinful in all religions including Judaism and Christanity although some Christian denominations do not forbid alchohol drinking.

Excellent answer above. I'll add that drinking does heavy damage to one's liver and nervous system. It causes alcohol addiction and impairs the senses. It is one of the main causes behind car accidents. For pregnant women, alcohol can handicap the baby. It is also, of course, a big waste of money. Drinking can also lead to rape, robbery, and other crimes that wouldn't be done while sober.

There is wisdom in forbidding alcohol.

Yes, it is very sinful. Allah does not want us to harm our bodies by drinking Alchol. And when you drink Alchol you are not in control in your actions. All drugs that arent good for your body is sinful.

The second ceremony involved a ladies gathering and you put on henna and dance and sing.. before the fun stuff happens there is a little prayer held.. where you do or put stuff on the bride such as rub oil on the bride's head and flip around with rice.

ah aha.. and then the fun stuff happens where the bride and other ladies or young teenagers sit around waiting for someone to put on henna. Meanwhile ladies.. and especially get convered with designs..

the family is dancing or eating or even talking!

and before that you sit and the "pundit" acts as a priest and that's when the ring comes on. after completeing 7 rounds of fire.. your marriage is OFFICIAL.

Which monotheistic religion is the oldest Islam Hinduism Christianity or Judaism?

Hinduism is not even close to being Monotheistic.

Judaism is the oldest, followed by Christianity and then Islam.

However, Muslims believe that their religion didn't begin with Mohammed, but that he was the final seal on it, and that Islam began in the time of Adam. Therefore, they could theoretically make a case in that department.

Historically, however, the first order is correct.
