Can a divorced Muslim marry a atheist?
It's not illegal - although Islam tries to insist that a woman converts to Islam before she marries a Muslim man. It does partly depend on what you mean by Muslim; President Obama's mother was an agnostic, whilst his father was born into a Muslim family - his father was not religious but he might be considered a Muslim - he certainly was in the last election! - yet they married.
What are the causes of downfall of Muslim ummah?
This is a hard question to answer easily, but it started when Muslims drifted away from their faith and started following their personal wants, like power and money, the prophet PBUH predicted this as following:
The Prophet peace be upon him said: 'The nations shall gather and team up against you (i.e., Muslims) as the predators gather and team up against their preys. A questioner asked: 'Is it because of us being low in numbers at that day?' The Prophet replied: 'No, you that day shall be in great numbers, but you will be as powerless as the foam of the water on the surface of the river, and Allah shall remove any fear from your enemies toward you, and He shall put in your hearts a corruption.' A questioner asked: 'O Apostle of Allah, what is the corruption?' The Prophet replied: 'The love of life's amusements and the fear of death.'
What are the moral rules and guidelines of the Muslims called?
The Muslim morals are not so much different than that of many other religions except in minor details. All revelation of heaven-sent religions (mainly, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) and other religions have one common objective (irrespective to faith or society issues as marriage, inheritance, etc). This common objective is to have the morals with which all mankind can live in love, peace, and harmony.
Some of the Muslim morals are: * not eating the flesh of dead animals and blood and the flesh of swine,
* No Sex without marriage Prostitution are prohibited * Killing intentionally and with no legal authority is forbidden * Robbery, cheating, breaking promise, laying, and dis-modesty are prohibited * Intoxicants (as Alcohols and drugs) and gambling are prohibited. * Islam has made it obligatory on Muslims to cover their private parts, which everyone naturally feels a sense of shame at exposing especially on beaches
* Islam prohibits women to wear clothes which fail to cover the body and which are transparent, revealing what is underneath. It is likewise prohibited to wear tightly fitting clothes which delineate the parts of the body. Face and hands remain uncovered. * Treating the parents, especially when getting old, without tender and without enough respect and care.
* Mistreating wives and children * Cruelty in treating animals * Cutting tress without justification and spoiling water of rivers and springs and contaminating the air we are breathing unless for necessities of life.
* terrifying innocents and civilians * hate against other cultures and/or religion The above are some of the Muslim morals that came to my mind.

What led to the creation of the Sunni and Shiite sects in Islam?
Answer 1
First we should know that Shiites and Sunnis are not so separated sects as for example in Christianity. As for Sunnis and Shi'ites, they, both, believe that there is no god except the one and only one God, the Creator with no partner, no father, no son, no companion, and no resemblance, and that the prophet is His messenger. They both believe in God's Angels, all Prophets sent from God, all of God's holy book, the Day of Judgment, and destiny. They believe in the five Pillars of Islam. They both face the direction of Kaa'ba when praying. They pray in any mosque regardless of whether the prayer leader is Sunni or Shi'ite. They may differ in some minor details of rituals but these details are not critical to neither the Shi'ites nor the Sunnis.
The major difference is historical. The Shi'ites did not agree on the elected Caliphs (who followed Prophet Muhammad after his death). They believed that the Caliphs should only be within Prophet Muhammad descendants and family. Accordingly, they were supporting Ali Ibn about Taleb (Prophet cousin and the husband of his daughter Fatima) to be the first Caliph. However, they didn't protest against the elected Caliphs (Abou Bakr, Omar, and Ottman) and even Ali, himself, was good supporter and adviser to the three Caliphs until he was elected as the fourth Caliph.
Answer 2
The establishment of the Umayyad dynasty A debate over leadership of Islam The end of the Rightly Guided Caliphs
Answer 3
The main reason for the split here was: Disagreements over Succession after Mohammed's death.
The Muslim community was united while Mohammed was the leader of this community. Most Muslims hold, however, that he never specifically chose a successor to his leadership. There was a minority in the community that supported the candidacy of 'Ali, the Prophet's son-in-law, this political faction became known as the "Supporters of 'Ali" which in Arabic is Shiat 'Ali (where the modern term "Shiite" comes from). They derived their support from specific hadiths and events that they claimed showed that God had revealed to Mohammed that 'Ali would succeed him. The majority of Muslims held that these hadiths and events showed nothing more than that 'Ali was very pious, something they did not deny. Therefore they gave power to the man who was Mohammed's second-in-command and father-in-law Abu Bakr. This majority were called the People of the Customs [of the Prophet] which in Arabic is Ahl Sunna (from where the modern term "Sunni" comes from.)

Ramaḍān is a Muslim religious observance that takes place during the ninth month (the Islamic month of fasting) of the Islamic calendar; the month in which the Qur'an was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. Participating Muslims do not eat or drink anything from dawn until sunset in an effort to learn patience, sacrifice and humility. During Ramaḍān Muslims ask forgiveness for past sins, pray for guidance and aid in refraining from everyday evils, and try to purify themselves through self-restraint, good deeds and prayer. Eating, drinking, sexual intercourse, ignorant and indecent speech, arguing and fighting, lustful thoughts, obscene or irreligious sights and sounds during fasting hours are forbidden. Muslims are expected to put more effort into following the teachings of Islam and to atone for personal faults and misdeeds.
Fasting is the most prominent event of the month of Ramaḍān. Every day Muslims around the world get up before dawn to eat Suhoor, the predawn meal, and perform the fajr prayer. They stop eating and drinking before the call for prayer starts until the fourth prayer of the day, Maghrib. Muslims may continue to eat and drink after the sun has set until the next morning's fajr prayer call when the process repeats.
