How many quarts of oil for 1994 Jeep Wrangler 6 cylinder and what weight oil?
I have a 1991 a 1992 and a 1993 jeep wranglers and all take 6 quarts of oil
with a new filter installed. I use 10-40 weight oil in all mine its good for all year
and all weather driving. Be sure to change every 3,000 to 4,000 miles if you love
your jeep like I do. Jeep people are the coolest but you have to not have a
problem with getting it dirty. Jeeps like dirt and mud.

Why is your 1998 Jeep Wrangler leaking hydrolic fluid?
If the fluid is coming from near the front bumper then your steering box is leaking. It is pretty common problem. Usually the seals wear out and fluid leaks by. To fix it you can try to put some steering leak stop oil in it (lucas oil makes the best), it may take a bottle or two and a few weeks to stop. If not you'll have to replace it.

The Wrangler can fit up to a 31x10.5 tire with no lift. Use the attached web page to see which sizes of non-high flotation tires will fit. http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp I ran the calculator and it says that a 235/75r15 is only 28.87" in overall diameter. So, yes, they should fit because they are under 31".

Will a soft top for a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sahara fit a 1997 Jeep Wrangler Sport?
If you are switching out all of the hardware/bracketry it will fit. If you are just installing the soft top you want to make sure that it is the right set up for your brackets. The problem is that most of these soft tops are replaced after five or so years and you never know what bracket set up they used or replaced. My suggestion to you would be to go to the quadratec.com website. They diagram this very nicely. There you can see what the stock soft top setup looks like, and if yours looks like this, then you will be able to put a stock 1998 Sahara top on it.

If the engine cranks, then the first check is the fuse on the OVPR located next to the battery under the rain drip tray...it hase a 10 amp fuse located under it's clear plastic flip top. Check the fuse and check the manufacures date on the relay. If more than 5 years old, renew the relay... Mercedes updates these nearly every year. About $89.00.
Coils fail too, check for a spark whilst cranking by holding the coil wire 1/4 inch from a good ground.....CAUTION : Ignition is capable of 60,000 volts....do not test this way if you are not sure of what you are doing.
Additionally, you can use a test light on the terminals at the fuel pump with the ignition in the on position. if you do not have current, the fuel pump relay may be the problem. the relay is located in behind the battery behind the black cover. The fuel pump (2 fuel pumps on some models) is/are located under the floor panel close to the rear axle on the drivers side.
If you are sure you do not have spark then your problem could be the crankshaft position sensor... it is a magnetic device that sits in the bell housing at the back of the engine and feeds directly to the ignition control module located on the inside of the engine compartment on the driver side... remove the wire from the module and measure for a resistance of around 900ohms... if it is far below that... then that is the problem... if not that it could be the module itself... This problem plagued me for over a month and many replacement parts later.... from a wrecker yard luckily... it funally solved the problem... Good luck...
