How does jrotc helps you deal with peer pressurea?

JROTC helps deal with peer pressure by building self-esteem. It gives you the ability to make your own choices. This program makes you see things for what they are, like who is not a loser and who is getting nowhere in life. It helps you see past high school. It puts you with the "right crowd" a group of people with real values and strong morals so there is more pressure on doing the right thing than making the wrong choice.

Can you join JROTC if it isn't offered at your school?

If you live near a high school that has a JROTC program, you can talk to both principals, your parents, and/or whoever else need be involved, you can technically attend the other school's JROTC program. You will most likely have to provide transportation, though. It is different with every school district.

I know for a fact that a small, determined group of students can get a program started at their through petitioning. As long as your school meets the population requirement. Look into it. All the JROTC's websites are informative.

If after this you still cannot join JROTC, you should start looking at other programs such as CAP (Civil Air Patrol), BSA (Boy Scouts of America), Girl Scouts, Young Marines, U.S Naval Sea Cadet Corps, U.S Army Cadet Corps or Sea Scouts (a BSA activity).

What were the ranks of doctors assigned to fallschirmjager regiment and Battalion HQ'S?

normally at the Regt level the highest ranking Docter would have been a Colonel or LT. Colonel. At the battalion level, you would have most likely encountered a Captain or a major at the most. Due to shortages across the board it was common for Captains to be commanding Battalions and majors to be incharge of Regiments.

curently in JROTC 2009-10; what most kids dont understand is that JROTC means adifferent things to different kids. personally it means knowing that no matter how hard it gets i have the other cadets there to edge me on and help me get threw it. JROTC helped me stay out of trouble, and also it helped me realize that my sargent and major really care about us, and that no matter what, when your part of JROTC your part of something big!

What type of metal is a 2007 penny made of?

Here's the history, according to the U.S. Mint: * From 1837 to 1857, the cent was made of bronze (95 percent copper, and five percent tin and zinc). * From 1857, the cent was 88 percent copper and 12 percent nickel, giving the coin a whitish appearance. * The cent was again bronze (95 percent copper, and five percent tin and zinc) from 1864 to 1962, except: In 1943, the coin's composition was changed to zinc-coated steel. This change was only for the year 1943 and was due to the critical use of copper for the war effort. However, a limited number of copper pennies were minted that year. * In 1962, the cent's tin content, which was quite small, was removed. That made the metal composition of the cent 95 percent copper and 5 percent zinc. The alloy remained 95 percent copper and 5 percent zinc until 1982, when the composition was changed to 97.5 percent zinc and 2.5 percent copper (copper-plated zinc). Cents of both compositions appeared in that year.
