No, there is no dipstick. Manual transmissions do not have a dipstick. My 2006.5 Optima manual does not have a dipstick.

You will more than likely find, if it is a Kia motor, they are pretty much the same layout (pain in the behind). On top of the motor you will find a fancy but annoying plastic cover plate, Remove this cover plate and you will find 4 recessed holes down the centre of the block, which is where the plugs are located, you will need a long extension on your socket driver to reach them. on th etop of the motor remove the plastic cover. it will give you access to the coils and plugs. Using a 10mm socket, remove the engine cover. All 4 plugs are in the center of the block. Two are really easy to find, the other two need to be removed after you remove the cover on top. You will need a 10mm socket to gain access to them. Don't forget your extender when changing the plugs.

I would start by looking under your washer reservoir. it will be a small cylindrical pump sticking out of the bottom. just pull it out and connect the new one in its place.

kia sporatage 4cyl is about $75.00 do it your self.Obviously it will depend greatly on the model and engine size.

Could be several possibilities, one being the timing belt let go.

the speed sensor output shaft is located under the speed sensor, on top of the transaxle, just beneath the air intake hose that leads to the throttle body. for easy access, you need to pull the battery, air cleaner box, and intake to throttle body hose.

wasdriving a 2004 kia optima just shut off changed fuel pump and found out no spark so no spark no fuel any suggestions

starter located right side under exhaust manifold . remove BATTERY CABLE!!!
remove 3 10mm bolts from heat shield one is on rear of shield behind manifold..remove starter bolts one by one move wires from new to old starter .reposition starter install two bolts holding starter on . replace all e heat shield bolts and ground wire.

The 2008 Kia Optima has double overhead cam (DOHC).

I have an 04 and I disconnect the battery terminals for about a half hour. Just did in within past week. You'll need to reset your radio stations also

Not completely sure, but you should just have to disconnect the battery for a couple of seconds. Shouldn't have to reset the computer

there should be a little red bulb to the lower left of the steering wheel. I forget exactly how but i think you have to turn the key, without turning the engine on, hold the button for a few seconds, release and start the engine.
