You'll see a grooved "oil pan" with two 5/8 inch bolts that also have Allen socket in the center. The bolt on the right side of the pan facing the ground is the transmission fluid drain plug. The bolt on the left side of the pan, facing the front of the bike is the oil drain. Their is a third Allen bolt next to the oil drain plug. You can ignore this bolt.

Remove the cowling off the top of the engine. It has about 6 bolts. The senor is located on the passenger side at rear of the engine. Unplug the harness. Remove the two screws and change out the tps. It will require a short Phillips screw driver. The sensor has oblong screw holes so it can be adjusted for the correct transmission shift points. Good Luck and don't drop the screws!
