well mate, your disk that you are talking about contains all the drivers and lets say you format your hard disk completely and install windows again, you will have to re install all the drivers again so my advice is that first you find out your dell driver disk (The one which is labelled with drivers on top). If you can find that than you can take the next step, use an windows cd\dvd (If you lost that too, you can buy a new one) to a comlete new install, to clean whole disk, you can delete and make new partitions or you can format partitions othar than windows one after installing a fresh copy of windows.
And if you don't have any thing than call dell customer support and ask what your options are (Usually You Can Buy A New Set Of Discs).

If your computer freezes there are really two possible things to do:
- Wait for it to unfreeze - Often the computer can freeze when it has to load a lot of content. Websites especially can cause this. Examples of hard to load sites are:

- A workaround is to go directly to the content you need, like http://email.orange.co.uk.

I have done this before and nothing bad happened but I would not suggest doing it on a regular basis. Be aware that the adapter for the laptop will get very hot when it is plugged into the socket for long amounts of time. Another problem could be that not only the adapter overheats but other componants in your laptop may also begin to heat which could cause the mother board to not work or any other important componant that is important in the running of the computer may litterally melt down and stop working. In conclusion, if you have accidently left your laptop plugged in overnight, do not worry yourself too much just get there asap to unplug it. DO NOT regularly leave your laptop charging overnight!

Once you've got the Webcam/Camara look through the box and find the Drivers CD (Which will be like the only CD in the Box, Once you've found it put it into the PC and install the drivers (Its just like any other installation) Once that's done plug your Webcam into the PC via a USB port and then open the Software you installed (when you installed the drivers it probebly came with Filming software to)
Now open that software and from there you should be able to find the Record button.
I've just had a look at Acer's website, If you've got one of the new laptops that come with webcams then you need to look through the box the laptop came with and find the Drivers for the Webcam, Install it and there we go, Should be simple from there.
Open Task Manager by right-clicking the taskbar and then clicking Task Manager.
Click the Applications tab to see a list of all the programs that are currently running on your computer and each program's status (either Running or Not Responding).
If a program is not responding and you want to close the program, click the program, and then click End Task. Any unsaved changes made using the program will be lost.

You can easily see start up and currently running by hitting the software tab and adjust or change the ones you want. I know many that use it just for that purpose and it's an excellent tool and easy to use.

For newer notebooks, it doesn't really matter.
