AnswerIt also depends on which year and model, like 93 GS300 the thermostat is located on the side engine block follow it to the BOTTOM radiator hose. It has only two bolts to remove.On a 94 ES 300, the thermostat is located at the end of the bottom radiator hose and is mounted to the engine block by three 10mm nuts. I highly recommend getting the thermostat from the dealer. I tried one from Kragen and it didn't fit as tight and was very flimsy compared to the OEM.
