If you make copy for your own use i.e. a copy for the home and copy for you to listen to at work, that seems to more controversial and the term of use from the copyright owner will need to be consulted. After that, you open your other lime-wire, open that library, then "minimize" it to where you can see the newer lime-wire's library behind the older. No, you can download it for other stuff too. Like just listening to it on your computer, burning it out into a CD, but that's not truly legal...you can download it onto ipods, mobile phones with a music player too, and I cant think of any other devices lol

If you want to use something that involves research and also involves finding tracks of albums individually, Limewire is your choice. uTorrent makes it easier to download whole albums, or even discographies. uTorrent gives you what you want and then some. There are much more sources available to download certain things. I recommend uTorrent.

This happened a few times with me. The only thing I did was download the songs again on limewire and the songs went straight to my music folder where I had everything and the songs went again. I'm just having problems dragging my movies into my library and while syncing, it says the disk cant be read from or written to. I dont know how to fix that. ---------------------------- The answer to this question is YES, they will, because iTunes simply finds and reads the song's file from the location you imported it - for example, Limewire. But there is a solution. Go into iTunes and highlight the song(s) in question, right click and select "Create AAC Version." AAC stands for Advanced Audio Coding, and it's the format that iTunes Store audio comes in. Anyway, after you've clicked to create the new version, it may take awhile, as iTunes "converts" the song. When it's finished there will be a new song file in your Music library - so you'll have two of the same song. You can delete the Limewire file now, and then delete the file in iTunes that will no longer play, but the AAC one will, even after the others are deleted. (If you aren't sure which is which, either try to play each or look at the date added.) Hope that helps.
