milk is very slightly acid.
it's pH is somewhere between 6.5 and 6.7
milk's fat does not influence it's acidity.
No. 2 percent milk is much too thin and lacks the fat and consistency needed to substitute for sour cream in any recipe. Low-Fat Yogurt would be a better substitute for sour cream.
There are three types of milk based on fat contents.
In one cup, there's about 110 calories in 1% milk. Not much difference compared to the 130 calories in 2% milk. Switch to skim, low-fat soy, or even almond milk if you're really interested in low calorie drinks. Skim only has 90 calories per 250mL, low-fat soy has around 70 calories, and almond milk typically has around 60-70 calories per serving.
in milk there are10tea/sppon fulls of sugar which is 40grammes of sugar so whats the need to add sugar to the tea its already in there from milk posted by toni campbell-innes 15years old
Skimmed milk has a little more calcium than semi-skimmed, which in turn has a little more calcium than whole milk.
The reason is simply that as the fat is removed, the watery proportion of the milk goes up, and this is the part that contains the calcium.

It depends who you are. If you are not giving your infant (6 months to 2 years) breast or follow-on milk they need the calories that whole milk provides. After that it is really a matter of personal preference unless there is a necessity for fat/calorie reduction, and that goes for adults as well as children.
WW calculator shows Trader Joes 1% milk = 3pts for 1 cup. Thats for WW pointsplus. FYI~ I use ALmond Breeze Unsweetened almond milk = 1pt for 1 cup.
you go to th3 store and buy skim milk...... dumb@$$
The percentage is a reference to the fat content of the milk. Whole milk contains usually between 3.25% and 4.0% fat, where as 2% obviously contains 2% fat. Also, in the US 2% milk generally will have more Vitamin A than whole milk. This is because during the fat reduction process, a lot of vitamin A is lost, so it is artificially added back into the milk.
calcium, and 4.5 grams of fat along with vitamins a &d.
Since one cup of 2% milk contains about 130 calories, and a tablespoon is 1/16 of a cup, the answer is:
Just over 8 calories.
1 cup is 250 gm. So 2 cups are 500 gm (whatever liquid)

It depends on the type of milk. Skim milk for example, in that amount, would be about 60 calories. For 2% milk, for example also in that amount, it would be about 100 calories.
The answer depends a lot on what kind of milk. Skim milk has about half the calories of whole milk, for instance. The calorie breakdown (per cup) is this: Whole Milk - 150 calories 2% - 120 calories 1% - 100 calories Skim - 80 calories
yes it spoils alot faster because it has more ingredients
