What is the division of cities in UK with respect to Area?

Cities in the UK are officially divided into subdivisions known as wards, which correspond to groups of neighbourhoods atypically.

In Birmingham, these wards are grouped together in what is known as a council constituency, which are informally referred to as 'districts.'

It is important to note that city status in the United Kingdom is awarded to local government areas, rather than to single settlements in many cases, so for example, the City of Leeds comprises the Leeds settlement, and a series of other towns such as Otley, Pudsey and Wetherby which are not contiguous with the main settlement.

In the latter case, the city is still split into wards, but some towns in Leeds are also part of something called a civil parish. This allows them to be titled as a 'town' within a local government district that may be designated as a "city."

Altrincham's spelling changed from "Altringham" to "Altrincham" in the 19th century, with the new form becoming more widely accepted by the mid-1800s. This change was part of a broader trend in the standardization of place names during that period. How long does it take to drive from Manchester to Cornwall?

Motorway all the way - well nearlyI would expect somewhere between 5 and 7 hours, assuming you are going to the far end of Cornwall. It would also depend upon the time and day of your journey. There can be a large tailback just south of Bristol and around West Bromwich and Smethwick at the M6/M5 interchange. It. should be a pleasant drive though once you get past Brum

Per Google Maps the distance and time are 326 mi - about 5 hours 33 mins.

Well I'm not improving it but in a week or so I'm driving with my friends and family down to st Ives and we have been a few times before and it took 12 hours to get there but there was quite allot of traffic but it should take 5-7 hours depending in which part of st Ives really but go on the m5 all the way down .... And Make sure you put in the right address into the sat nav .. unlike my dad :) have a nice trip.

A lot of rain comes across the north Atlantic and then to Europe. As Manchester is in the west of Europe, it is in line for some of that rain. Further south does not get as much rain, though further north would get more.
