Why was Marie Antoinette be-headed?
Marie Antoinette was beheaded because she was Queen of France during the unfortunate period of the French Revolution. The French people regarded the ancien regime, the system of monarchy and aristocracy that had been in place in France for hundreds of yeras, as evil and responsible for all the hardships that they had been forced to face over the years, which was largely true. The French monarchy was self-indulgent and spent vast amounts of money (i.e. the Palace of Versailles). People regard Queen Marie Antoinette as the embodyment of all that was wrong with the government, with her ridiculous expensive fashions and extravagance. In the Revolution, and above all in the Reign of Terror that encompassed the time during which Marie was beheaded, all the aristocrats, characterized as "enemies of the republic" were sent to the guillotine. Marie was the very height of the monarchy, so she was destined to die. Her life may have been spared if her brother Joseph II of Austria or her mother Maria Theresa were still alive and they could have sent her help, but they were not and so she went to the guillotine.
Or:
Because she suffered from a fatal birth defect. She was born an Austrian and that alone was adequate to demand her death during the French Revolution.
Was it unfair that Marie Antoinette was transported to her execution in a open cart?
It was cruel, but not unfair; everybody went the same way
What is someone most likely meaning if they compare you to Marie Antoinette?
it means you are smart- witted and shaped tonged
No, not at all. She was Austrian, a country that France had been in war with for years. The French did not want a foreigner on the throne, especially not an Austrian. Also, even before she came to France, the revolution was already smuldering because of the financial disasters of Louis XV which he did to the national treasury. France was already almost bankrupt when Marie ZAntoinette stepped in the picture, and because the French needed someone to blame it all on, and she was Austrian, she was the perfect victim. The people tried to make all of France believe that she had no concern for her people, spending money on wigs and dresses and throwing wild parties while the population was starving and desperate. The people did believe it, although she was completely innocent and killed her and her husband, destroying the whole French monarchy and the French credibility all around the world for as far as the French had that anyway.

Is Marie Antoinette buried in the Paris catacombs?
She is said to be buried in the necropolis of French Kings at St. Denis Basilica (a big and beautiful cathedral in Paris) along with her husband Louis XVI of France. This is the cathedral were all French Kings and their family used to be buried. Though, during the French revolution an angry mob trashed the cathedral actually opening the graves and throwing the deceased out of their graves. It was restored though, but it was never quite certain of course if the correct body parts had been put back in their righteous coffins...
When Marie Antoinette was beheaded, her body was thrown in an unmarked grave in the former La Madeleine cemetery (closed the following year). Both her body and that of Louis XVI were exhumed on 18 January 1815, during the Bourbon Restoration, when the comte de Provence had become King Louis XVIII. Proper Christian burial of the royal remains took place three days later, on 21 January.
At least, so it is said. In those days there wasn't something called DNA-testing and Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI had been thrown into a mass grave. During the digging in that grave, a witness says he recognized an upperleg-bone with a suspender on it and said it was definitely Marie Antoinette's. The body of Louis XVI was recognized by the shape of the skull. These remains are now buried at the St Denis. Thus, it is highly unlikely that it is actually Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI that are buried there. It is much more probable that they are still somewhere underground
What aspect of fashion did Marie Antoinette take on?
None of them survived the revolution. Some were burned, others were stolen, some were sold, ripped etc.
The only thing that survived the revolution was one of her shoes (it is actually not proven to be hers, but a lot of eye witnesses claim that it is her shoe. She is said to have lost it on her way to the scaffold).
As a young woman Marie Antoinette was criticized for partaking in what pastime?
There are a few pastimes that caused her to get criticism. * Horse riding (it was not a feminine thing to do to go hunting, and this could cause her to become infertile (so her mother said). She solved this by riding donkeys for a while, just to tease 'em and then eventually rode on horses again.) * Gambling (she was bored to tears in Versailles and felt the need for distractions and fun. * Spending time at the Petit Trainon (her own little palace where she would invite guests (without an invite no one got in, not even her husband the King) and escape etiquette) * Making fun of etiquette rules (she hated all the rules and sensitive ego's that were involved in accomplishing them. She refused to wear her corset for quite a while, rode donkeys, had male-pants made for herself because she refused to ride horses with 2 legs on one side (she wanted to ride the male way because that felt better and she could go faster) broke the etiquette rules so a lot of people got offended etc. * Organizing too many balls, feasts, opera's and other parties. * spending too much time with her favorites (people who's presence she favored) * Spending too much money on clothing, headdresses, interior design etc. that were en vogue at the moment (though, throughout her entire reign, she was the only queen of France that had spent less than any other queen of France before her. All the former queens had spent much more!)
Was there a relationship between Marie Antoinette and Louis XV grandfather of her husband Loius XVI?
Louis XV was the grandfather of her future husband, Louis XVI. Therefore, Marie Antoinette always referred to him as her dear grandpapa.

What did Marie Antoinette do that caused her death?
Her only crime was that she was born an Austrian.
She was the Queen of France, and ever since the revolutionaries wanted to get rid of their monarchs to start a republic, vicious rumours had spread about her and she was falsely seen as the cause of the great debt the country was in. The revolutionaries therefore decided not only to kill the King of France, but also his wife, Marie Antoinette.
Not only that, but she was extremely vicious towards peasants and third estate-men. She was credited with saying that if they were having troubles, "let them eat cake!" which basically meant she didnt really care about their situation money wise or didnt know about it.
What did the priest say to Marie Antoinette?
I think you refer to the priest that walked her to the scaffold after stepping of the carage. He said to her: "This is the moment, Madame, to arm yourself with courage." Her reply was: "Courage! I have shown it for years; do you think I shall lose it at the moment when my sufferings are to end?"
How would you describe Marie-antionette?
Marie Antoinette was the last Queen of France before the French Revolution, known for her extravagant lifestyle and perceived indifference to the plight of the French populace.
