The Maryland Line, Maryland's regiments of regulars, achieved a reputation as the saviors of the Continental Army and the cause of independence. References to the "Old Line" are a tribute to the Maryland Line, but more specifically, to the first incarnation of the Maryland Line, the men who first mobilized in December 1775 and early 1776 and fought at Long Island on 27 August 1776, serving under William Smallwood, Francis Ware, Thomas Price, and Mordecai Gist. The battle-worn survivors of this regiment ostensibly reorganized in December 1777, continuing their enlistments "for three years or during the war." But by the close of 1777, few remained from the original line Washington witnessed at Long Island. Bled weak by fighting in the vanguard of the war, they received reinforcements from the Maryland companies of the Flying Camp, and earned recognition for their sacrifices in the form of a nickname.

if you are a girl: summer, i would wear shorts, lose tops, cute flip flops and something like a necklace r sunglasses from my fave place Charming Charlie. for spring same thing but instead of shorts color skinny jeans and add a cardigan. IN the fall i like to wear, dark blue bootcut jeans a wool sweater over a solid color top ( stick to greens and other earthy fall colors) and a pea coat and lastly for winter i would wear black pants with lots of layer plus a BIG coat.

if you are a boy: summer, i see boys wear... cargo shorts with a t-shirt and a plaid short sleeves button down with cool sun glass's. for spring jeans with a belt and collared shirt. Fall nice GRAY jeans converse shoes a t-shirt laryed over a solid colored LONG sleeve shirt with a boy pea coat and finally for winter stick to the same thing as fall but try different jean colors and fits like carpindor
