Your performance evaluation requires you to provide a self-assessment you need examples or the best veribage to use?

Since there's not much room for the question, I'm assuming you have one of two issues: 1. You can't imagine that you do anything wrong, so it's tough to be critical of yourself (or you don't want to admit to anything, anyway.) OR 2. You feel like a failure and can't think of much that is positive to say. Ironically, the answer is about the same...you have to use language which takes your negatives and finds the positive components in them. Here are some examples: I am a slow worker. Why? Because I take time to do the job right the first time rather than speed through and make 25 corrections at the end. So my evaluation is, I'm a careful and analytical worker. I tend to joke around and be very social with my co-workers, and some companies might perceive that as a waste of time. So I state, honestly, that I believe in the teamwork concept and building good teamwork through good morale. Your weaknesses often have positive side effects just as your strengths may have a downside: I am the best sales person in the business. I do this by aggressively taking sales from my fellow workers. Some might say I steal them. I worked several months to complete a complicated project successfully. It may have been to the exclusion of other duties that I was expected to handle, or at the cost of relationships within my profession or even my family. Hope this is helpful. (I used to hire and evaluate people in management positions, and I just spent 6 months looking for a job.)

You have done masters from Karachi university Pakistan so how many credits hours you needed to complete masters in usa and is your degree consider bachelors here in US?

Most colleges and universities within the US, require coursework and degrees from outside the country be evaluated by an official evaluation agency within the US. Based on the evaluation agency's recommendation, the college or university will determine whether the coursework is equivalent in content and credit hours to the one's offered at the school. It is not a guarantee that just because the evaluation agency equates the coursework to US standards, that the receiving institution will accept them, but it does give them something to go on. As an example, one of the most widely used evaluation agencies on the US eastern coast, is the World Education Services (WES) located in New York City. You should contact the institution of your choice for transfer information, seeing that each college or university will have policies and procedures particular to itself.

What are the future trends of management information system?

Trends in Management Information Systems

Enterprise Resource PlanningManagement information systems (MIS) are complex decision support systems used by companies to enhance and improve their business operations. Historically, an MIS was a management tool to help company management make informed decisions for their business based on information gathered from all business departments. Technology has greatly improved the effectiveness of the MIS.Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software is a form of MIS that is installed in all departments and locations of businesses to enhance the availability of company information. With the globalization of the economic marketplace, companies have sought ways to improve their ability to collect and report financial information to management for effective decision making. ERPs fill this void by allowing companies to use one computer system to effectively record all company information.

  1. Networking
    • Another trend in MIS is the ability for companies to network with other companies for business purposes. Manufacturing firms can shorten their supply chain using electronic data interchange (EDI) to transfer the necessary information for ordering more products. Networking also allows companies to transfer money through several bank accounts, creating a quicker process for paying bills and purchasing materials. An MIS ensures that management has all the pertinent information for these business operations, allowing them to review the effectiveness of their operations.

    Data Mining
    • An important trend in MIS is the ability for companies to use data mining tools to collect information regarding consumer purchases and other economic trends. This allows management to translate this information into goals and directions for future business operations. Most MIS software also has trending or forecasting models that allow companies to project emerging consumer markets for profitable operations. Companies can use their internal figures in the MIS to measure the effectivess of their external data mining techniques.

    Education
    • As MIS software becomes more prevalent in businesses, many colleges and universities have developed educational programs to train students on these programs. Most degrees are four-year baccalaureate programs that combine general business courses with a mix of computer programming and management classes. This helps students to develop a well-rounded education in the development and implantation of MIS software. Advanced degrees are also offered.

    Careers
    • Computerized MIS programs have led to a new career in database management and consulting. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the growth rate for jobs in the MIS field is expected to grow 21 percent or more from 2006 to 2016. Incomes can range from $83,000 to $109,000 depending on the industry or position, according to the BLS.

Why pumice stone doesnot sink in water?

In short, pumice is less dense than water, so it floats.

During the formation of pumice stone, air bubbles are incorporated into the stone itself. These air pockets make the overall mass of the stone much lower than you'd expect, and work like small floatation devices when the stone is placed in water.

How many years are required to cover BSc MSc and Ph.D in Biotechnology?

A bachelor's degree in most areas can require between 120 to 128 college credits particular to a specific program of study. This would be based on a college or university that operates on a regular two semester academic year which is the most common. For institutions that operate on a tri-semester or quarter-semester it would be quite different. That being said, the Bachelor's degree - in most cases - is designed as a four year program of study, provided the student is full-time and follows their chosen program of study as prescribed by the college or university, and also provided the individual does not require prerequisite or developmental coursework as a result of basic skills testing. The minimum credit load for a full-time student is no less than 12 credits per semester. However, to complete the degree within the four years, a credit load of approximately 15 to 18 credits is recommended. For individuals who work or who have other responsibilities that would prohibit them from attending full-time, completion of the degree may take twice as long. Still, some of this time can be cut down by attending summer sessions and/or interim sessions. In addition, the bachelors and associate degrees are referred to as undergraduate degrees while the masters and doctorate degrees referred to as graduate degrees.

The master's degree can take approximately two to three years to complete post bachelor's degree. The actual length of time depends on the specific program of study; the credit load carried per semester, and provided the student takes the degree as prescribed by the college or university.

The PhD would take approximately four years post bachelor's to complete. The degree can run up to 60 credits in coursework particular to a specific field of study. The actual length of time depends much on how long it takes a student to prepare and defend their dissertation which typically follows the prescribed coursework. The dissertation is an individual student project advancing an original view point on a topic of the students choosing. It is developed through extensive supporting research and must be approved by the designated committee.

How long does it take to get a master's degree?

Generally it takes full time graduate students 2-3 years to earn a master's degree and 4-5 years to earn a PhD. This is assuming they go for the same subject that they hold an undergrad degree in. If the subject is different, it may take longer because there may be extra prequisite requirements.

Students who do part time programs also usually take longer to earn their degree because they are not taking as many classes as full time students. Students who choose to attends classes during the summer can earn their degree in 1.5 years or less with an accelerated class schedule

Which is more difficult and MA or an MSc?

It' not so much a question of difficult as it is that they are different.

The Master's of Arts degree (MA) has a broader scope, with a strong emphasis on the humanities, theoretical and general knowledge in a recognized discipline, interdisciplinary field, or of a professional study.

The Master's in Science degree (MSc) is more of a focused approach with a science base to include a balance of liberal arts, technological knowledge, math and computer oriented skills, and practical skills needed for a particular discipline within the field.
