Why do some girls get there period earlier?
It is never considered "early", it may be all up in your genes, or maybe just randomizacle menstrual problems as called for.
How can you reduce menstrual bleeding?
There is little women can do to prevent this menstrual irregularity other than discovering the root cause. One thing they can do, however, is stop using an IUD, which can often cause heavier bleeding.
What can you eat to make your period come faster?
There is absolutely nothing that you can eat or do to make your first period come any sooner than it would naturally. You will only start to menstruate once you reach a point where your body is mature enough to start ovulating, you can no more speed-up your development in this area that you could force your body to grow an extra foot overnight. Your periods start when your body is ready, there's no way to force things to move along faster.
Should you worry if your period is a lot lighter and fewer days than normal?
No. Periods can fluctuate due to stress, being more sexually active than normal. Also hormones are to be accounted for. Our bodies change every 7 years. Women from as young as 35 up can be pre-menopausal (periods are irregular) until they reach menopause where their periods cease. It's a good idea to get a good physical each year and a pap test.
You could be experiencing implantation bleeding. It usually appears either a light pink spotting, and lasts a short amount of time. However, with me I experienced a slight period, that lasted 5 days but was very light.
Usually, this is caused by worrying about or hoping for a pregnancy. If it gets heavier, you probably are not pregnant.
You have had your period for 8 days is that normal?
Yes, this is normal. Length varies from 3-10 days...sometimes they last up to 14! Everyone is different so dont worry...especially if you had your first period recently...girls are usually very irregular and all over the place for the first year or two!
More information would be helpful. Are you sexually active? In which case this may be a very early miscarriage. Are you around the menopause? In which case it is just that your hormones are a bit upset. If you are worried please see a doctor.
Is it normal to be bleeding continuously for weeks?
no - please see a doctor. It may be nothing serious, it happened to my friend and she had some cyst issues that went away eventually but the anxiety is bad for you and you need to find out what's going on with your body. Even if its nothing major - its a sign you are stressed and need to pay attention to your emotions and your overall wellbeing. Be nice to yourself.
If you are talking about moving homes, then just the pure stress of moving can cause your cycle to go haywire.
Be patient, once your nerves calm down, you will be fine.
-
The amount and intensity of exercise, types of food, amount of sleep and stress, and other factors all can affect the time your period appears and also how long you will bleed.
The way you move can affect the flow of a period, for example if one's always sitting crunching their stomach, they're more likely to get cramps than someone who has a good metabolism and posture thru exercise and eating right.
What can spots of blood after urinating mean?
The only thing that comes to mind is a bladder infection. But if it were a bladder infection, you would probably be getting other symptoms such as a burning sensation when you urinate, as well as having to go to the bathroom more than usual.
No menstrual period for 3 months is called?
The problem could be a hormone imbalance. If she is a young girl just starting her period the hormones take time to settle into a cycle and things like this can happen ( it happens in menopause as well), so she might well miss a month or two. Take her to the doctor to be sure.
Why do I keep smelling this weird scent from my body?
Olfactory hallucinations are a type of hallucination which involves the olfactory system. Patients who experience olfactory hallucinations think that they are smelling something when there is nothing in the environment producing the odor being experienced. They may be able to describe the smell in detail, and they can have reactions to the smell, such as gagging at the smell of feces or increased saliva production at the smell of chocolate chip cookies. Althoughphantosmia, as it is known to the medical community, may seem primarily like an interesting curiosity, it can actually be a sign that a patient has a severe medical problem, and people who smell things which don't exist definitely need to see a doctor.
One of the most common causes for olfactory hallucinations is brain damage. The olfactory system is a physical sensory system, just like the systems used to allow people to perceive touch and vision, and damage to that system can interfere with its function. People withtumors or severe head injuries can start to smell phantom odors as a result of confused neurons along the sensory system's pathways.
Phantosmia can also be a symptom of epilepsy, caused by temporal lobe seizures which trigger the brain into thinking that a smell is present. Some people with migraines have also described olfactory hallucinations during the aura phase before a migraine sets in. Other causes of olfactory hallucinations include exposure to certain toxins, some types of drugs, and physical damage to the olfactory system, such as an infection.
ps:i think you should talk to a doctor :]
What is the worlds longest menstrual cycle?
I'm 17 and due to the contraceptive implant I had a period that lasted from the 5th November 2011 until July 31st 2012, believe it or not. I bled every single day non stop throughout those dates. On the 31st I got the implant removed and I was period free until August the 2nd(today) So only 2 days and now it's back. I just want to crawl into a cave.
I believe I deserve some form of world record.
I used 2 boxes of tampons every week, someone should calculate how much I spent. (£3 for 1 box haha)
Why would you start your period after getting off a week ago?
irregularity. it could possibly mean pregnancy. more commonly it happens when you ovulate (ovulation USUALLY, occurs right in the middle of your cycle). it could have something to do with a cist. thonly way to know for sure is to be seen by a doctor. check out some of your local GYN's & free clinics - its all confidential.
Is there something wrong with me if I am 14 and I haven't started puberty?
No. Puberty can happen for girls between the ages of 9 and 16. Most start to notice puberty happening around 10, 11, or 12, but it is still normal if you haven't really seen or experienced it by the time you are 14. Some factors that can control it are genetics, hormones, weight (if you are thinner, the longer it will take generally), and some believe that your surrounding (people, places, chemicals, and foods, for example) can also influence when you begin puberty. Well, I feel tenderness on my nipples and I have like some peech fuzz, but I am a 58 pound, 4 feet 6 inches and I am smaller than everyboby. I am a little 7th grade nerd withought any boobs. all of my other friends have started. I feel really selfconcious and I have only been asked out once. He didn't even really like me, it was a dare. The one good thing about it is though I guess, that I don't have to fight with the periods and the PMSing. IDK, I still get bad acne and I wash my face every day. I am soooo not stuffing my shirt, I need some more boy- attracting features. (by the way, I have frizzy, short curly hair, not much there either.)
Why does it mean by having your menstruation two weeks after your period?
either you where to rough, or your early-- both are normal.
What is a normal age to get your period?
A girl can get a period anytime between the age of eight and 21. the usual time is when the girl is either 12 to 13 years, but everyones is dffernet so do not get worried if u and ur friend dont get it at the same time.hope this helps :)
How do you take menstrual crap pain away?
I suggest taking generic Advil, which works better and costs less than normal Advil. Plus it works faster. For me, it often takes two hours for Advil to work (that's just me), and the generic kind, usually found at Walgreens, takes about thirty minutes. Also, using a hot water bottle, drinking hot liquids, eating hot foods or chocolate, or using a heating pad can really help. Heating soothes rather than numbs. Don't numb the sight of pain, heat it.
If you're like me, which you probably aren't, you have abnormally painful and medicine-resistant cramps. The cramps get so bad that they make me vomit or have diarrhea. The cramps fill up my entire stomach area, not just the lower part. When my mom and grandma were a little older than me, the cramps made them pass out, so I can expect that in the future. I'm only 14, but believe me, this stuff does help.
I hope you start feeling better.
Can an infection stop you from seeing your period?
If you mean "Can an infection stop your period from coming" then yes it can. Any stress to the body...be it physical or emotional can effect hormone and chemical levels, thereby effecting the menstrual cycle.
Sometimes a urinary tract infection, forms of staph infections, and infections of the pelvis can also change the menstrual cycle.
STD bacteria can also effect the timing of your period.
Remember to get any infections checked by a doctor, or any menstrual irregularities that haved stated and lasted for more than one cycle.
Sometimes, you cycle just wont come, will come late, last longer, last only a few days...etc for no reason at all and readjust itself the coming month.
Remember....even without insurance you local ER must take you in, so if price is an issue go there with concerns.
Peace&Respect
nobody can tell you without looking but unless you have a cut or something i would of fort so because were ells could it of come from but be careful because this girl went to the doctor because there was blood there but her period wasn't due for 2 weeks when she got to the doctors she found out it was just a waist stain
Can A women pregnant if menstruation stop?
No, it's biologically impossible for a woman to menstruate while she is pregnant - a woman will only menstruate if she doesn't get pregnant during the last cycle. A woman can bleed during pregnancy for various reasons but this is fairly rare, chances are if you're menstruating you're not pregnant.
Why have you not gotten your period in so long?
It could be stress. If you are having sex you could be pregnant. Otherwise it is normal to be late in certain circumstances.
How do you tell your friends that you got your period?
If you feel like it's someone's business, you can just say, "Hey, I started my period."
That is so right and you should like say "I hope you don't mind me asking but have you started your period yet?" and then say me too! i know it is fun to tell people about it lol
Do periods start when your ten years old?
Periods can start at a range of ages, the average is 12 years old but they can start at age 7 or 14.
About every month a woman gets rid of an egg from her womb (period) and the 'blood' that is expelled during a period is the old "blood rich" lining of ones womb.
At the beginning of a period, the blood looks redder because it is freshly being sloughed off (sliding off, sliding away) from the walls of the uterus. As the period progresses, the blood becomes darker, indicating it is old blood. (Meaning: If a doctor saw bright red blood, it indicates a new "bleed"-- anywhere in the body. Old blood is dark red to light or dark brown, meaning old blood and therefore of less concern unless it is in vomit.)
