What kind of clothing did the Miami Indians wear?
The Miami people, who have absolutely no connection with Florida, were originally located around Green Bay and later moved into the areas that later became Michigan and Indiana. Some Miami groups were called Wia and Piankashaw.
Men wore just a deerskin (buckskin) shirt, moccasins and a soft-tanned deerskin breechclout painted red. In summer only the breechclout and moccasins would be worn, earning the Miami the English name "naked men". Leggings were only put on for ceremonies and celebrations; these were gartered below each knee and had decorated bands down the front seam and around the bottom edge.
Women wore a buckskin wrap-around skirt painted red, with short leggings and moccasins. A poncho-like tunic was added in the cooler months.
Moccasins had soft soles and front seams on the top of the foot; very large cuffs were added (a tribal tradition that would identify them to any intelligent observer) - these flaps fell over the foot, almost hiding the moccasins. Each side flap was decorated in a different way, or in a kind of reverse pattern done with dyed porcupine quills, beads or ribbon.
Robes seem to have only been used by important people during ceremonies; these were often of deerskin painted with geometric designs.
Feathers were not widely used by the men of this tribe; a few warriors wore red-painted feathers. Shell beads were used for necklaces and bracelets as well as ear ornaments; shell disks were worn on leather strips around the neck. Painting and tattooing were widely used by both sexes, with red and black paint used most often.
Warriors carried huge shields of tough buffalo hide, tall enough to completely cover a man's body.

What is the longitude and latitude location of Miami?
Since the question is somewhat stingy with its information, we had to make some
assumptions.
1). We assumed that it's not referring to Miami in Manitoba, Arizona, Iowa, Indiana,
Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, or West Virginia, and we went instead with
Miami, Florida.
2). Miami, Florida is a big place. We assumed that the individual who posted the question
will be satisfied with the coordinates of the point in downtown Miami near City Hall, at the
east end of Flagler Street, the zero of north/south address numbering.
The intersection of E. Flagler St. and N/S Biscayne Blvd. is located at
25° 46' 26.7" north latitube
80° 11' 14.1" west longitube
The numbers will change as soon as you go 30 feet from that spot.
Who was Anthony Wayne and the Miami Indians?
The Western Indian Confederacy achieved major victories over U.S. forces in 1790 and 1791 under the leadership of Blue Jacket of the Shawnees and Little Turtle of the Miamis. They were encouraged and supplied by the British, who had refused to evacuate British fortifications in the region as called for in the Treaty of Paris. General Wayne with the Legion of the United States, 1794.
Washington placed Wayne in command of a newly-formed military force called the "Legion of the United States". Wayne established a basic training facility at Legionville to prepare professional soldiers for his force. Wayne's was the first attempt to provide basic training for regular U.S. Army recruits and Legionville was the first facility established expressly for this purpose.
He then dispatched a force to Ohio to establish Fort Recovery as a base of operations. On August 3, a tree fell on Wayne's tent. He survived, but was rendered unconscious. By the next day, he had recovered sufficiently to resume the march.[2] On August 20, 1794, Wayne mounted an assault on the Indian confederacy at the Battle of Fallen Timbers, in modern Maumee, Ohio (just south of present-day Toledo), which was a decisive victory for the U.S. forces, ending the war. Wayne then negotiated the Treaty of Greenville between the tribal confederacy and the United States, which was signed on August 3, 1795. The treaty gave most of what is now Ohio to the United States, and cleared the way for that state to enter the Union in 1803.
