Mickey Mouse was voiced by Walt Disney from his creation in 1928 until 1947.

When Walt Disney created Mickey he was first drawn in several different poses to create a guide for how Mickey should look. This is needed so other animators that help draw the cartoons would make Mickey the same way. He tried to turn Mickey's ear and found that it depending on the angle Mickey would no longer look like the character. The ears look distorted. In the class took on Walt Disney I saw one of those early reference sheets and I have to say the ears look more like horns than ears. So no matter how Mickey turns his head the ears stay towards the audience. However they normally overlayed a part of his head to make the picture agree with the direction the head was facing. They would also tilt the head a little making the farther ear slightly above the other ear.

Because in the Mickey Mouse world (usually) anthropomorphized animals fill the same role as normal humans (owning houses, wearing clothes, owning pets, etc.), so the normal real-world animal food chain doesn't apply to them. Even though they're different species, it'd be almost like cannibalism in that world. Only in some of the earliest cartoons, back when Mickey could sometimes be a "normal mouse" would that have made sense. Nowadays, it'd just be reeeeally strange.

Mickey Mouse made his first appearance in mid-November 1928 so while technically he was around "in the 1920s", it was only the last 13 and a half months of the decade. That aside, he was important simply because he was Disney's first creation that he was establishing his animation studios on.

Platy babies ( called fry when they are first born) are basically tiny versions of their parents. They are about 1/8" long and most will have coloration similar to the parents. Platys, like most other livebearers come in many different color varieties, coloration patterns, sizes and shapes.
