I found out that you can open pages documents in Adobe Reader with "7-zip".

1. Download "7-zip" (its only about 1 MB) --> http://www.7-zip.org/

2. Extract what you just downloaded to your computer

3. Find it in Windows Explorer (probably in "Program Files"/"Program Files(x86)")

4. Open "7zFM.exe"

5. Go to where your pages file is via "7-zip"

6. Open it (it will expant into different files instead of attepmting to open it in "Microsoft Word").

7. Open "Quick Look", then "Preview.pdf"

8. Coy all the text to "Microsoft Word"

You will get a window called

Stay in tab "Indents and spacing"

In the first half you will find section called "Indendation".

How do you add shading to words in Microsoft word?

In MS Word 2007- Select the words or paragraph you want to shade. Now under 'Home' Tab, click on the drop-down button of 'Shading' option(its in the 'Paragraph' tile.)

Shortcut- Press these keys one by one (don't hold them)- Alt - H - H - Select the color

But this one shades the entire line So you can do the same thing with individual words- Select the words. Under 'Home' Tab, click on the drop-down button of 'Text Highlighting Color' option(its in the 'Font' tile.) Shortcut- Alt - H - I - Select The color

I'm not sure of other versions, but I know this method will absolutely work on word '07.

In Word versions prior to 2007 you select the words you wish to highlight. In your menu bar there may be a "Highlight" shortcut button, usually to the left of the "Font Colour" button. Hold your mouse over the buttons for a few seconds to see what their functions are. If you click on the drop-down arrow to the right of the button you can select the color you wish to highlight with - this will become your default highlight color until you select another.

In Word 2007 and 2010 you select the text to highlight. In the "Home" tab menu bar there should be a "Text Highlight Color" button to the left of the "Font Color" button. If you click on the "AB/Pencil" looking button it will highlight the text with the current color shown on the button. You can drop down a selection of colors to change the default as above.

If you click on the "Highlight" button with no text selected then the cursor will change to a highlighting tool - this you can drag across text and it will highlight it with the current selected color - handy if you wish to mark several sections in a document. To highlight individual words simply double-click on them and it will automatically select and highlight the entire word. Press the "Escape" key or click on the "Highlight" button to cancel this mode and resume typing, etc.

If you would like to add "shading" to the words or table cell/s instead of simply highlighting them with a limited range of 15 colors/shades then do the following:

Pre Word 2007: Select the text or cells then click "Format" in the menu bar, then the "Borders and Shading" option, then click the "Shading" tab and choose the colour you require and click "Ok". This will give you a larger palette to select from and even custom-color options.

Word 2007/2010: Select as above then in the "Home" tab, "Paragraph" box of buttons, you will find the "Shading" button that looks like a paint-bucket. Click on it to shade with the color shown on the button, or drop down the selection via the arrow on the right of the button.

Unlike the "Highlight" painting function where you can carry on highlighting words until you disable it, if you click on the "Shading" button without selecting any text it will shade the current paragraph where the cursor is located. It also reverts back to a default color when you restart Word.

How do you remove the red wavy line under misspelled words?

There are two possibilities (if you are in something other than Word 2007, then you'll have to find the equivalent in your version):

1. Select the Word button...Word Options...Proofing. You should have ""Check spelling as you type" selected.

2. Select all text. Then select the Review tab...Set Language...select your language...select "Do not check spelling or grammar" until the box is empty. While you're here, select the "Default" button to make that your default. Select Ok.
