You will need a special tool called a BMW MINI AIRBAG (SRS) SCAN/RESET TOOL. They run anywhere from $70 to $130. Google the OBD Tool Store for the $70 version.

Depends on where you are having it replaced and by whom (dealerships charge the most). I just had my 2007 Mini Cooper's clutch replaced for $1100. Another shop gave me an estimate of $1350. I live in Orange County, CA.

Hi my mini cooper parking sensors packed up, i took my car to a small local garage who found that i had one sensor not working so they all stop working! I got a replacement sensor from a mini breakdown outlet £20 so don't pay bmw prices, the garage replaced the broken one just wear and tear he said, by removing the bumper and poping out the damaged sensor and replaced the new one. My car is green but the breakdown company only had black, i didn't care for that price and you can't really see the colour difference. I like a bargain.

I have a 2007 MINI and my check engine light has been coming on and going off since I bought it. I've had the car for 2 years and now have 18,000 miles. The car was recalled to have the catalytic converter replaced and the check engine light still comes on. It will stay on for days and then go off for days. I thought replacing the catalytic converter would take care of the problem but it obviously didn't. The tech at MINI told me that the best gas is Shell and that other gas could cause this to happen. I don't think that's a good enough answer. I'll be bringing my car back for service because of this continuing issue.

Well just a guess but resetting the battery also resets the computer and I 'm thinking it may have returned your body control module to it's factory setting.

Next to the odometer is a button. Press it to switch between odo and trip. While in trip, hold it to reset the tripometer.
