You put the vehicle in Neutral (please apply parking brake!!), press the button on the gear shift and pull straight up -- HARD! -- while in Neutral. It'll come right out. This is necessary for taking the console off to get at the radio amongst other places.. Seriously, pull hard, it won't brake, just pull strait up and it'll come out. D

Well, it depends if you have the roof up or down, if its up, of course u can go through, but if it's down you're in serious trouble. =]

My 04 gets 28.8 MPG all the time. In other words it will go about 345 miles on 13 gallons. Of gas. I use premium grade gas it is the S model with 87 k miles on it.

Well for starters if it's a Cooper S 2002-2006, you'll need to be looking in the boot- er, TRUNK for it. There was not enough room for it under the hood. After 2006 I don't know.

Yes, parts are expensive and when a mechanic sees you drive in with one, he instantly assumes you've got loads of money. It's probably been the worst car I've ever owned in terms of repair costs. Driving it, however, is great fun.
