The weight of a sofa bed is increased by the mattress most of all. So, take out the mattress and tie up the frame and the sofa will be more easily moved. Most of these sofas also have a heavy wood structure, so it is not just the sofa bed.

I agree with this post, i used them for storing stuff between moves, while i was living with my mother after me and my wife got a divorce, and then when i found a place of my own they just loaded up everything in my storage unit and delivered it. I couldn't ask for nicer people to deal with either!
