The apostle Paul's thorn in the flesh was people inspired by Satan to obstruct his ministry. An example to us, Paul recognized his human inability to overcome this dilemma. His response was that he kept his eyes on God and relied on His strength, repeatedly going to Him in prayer.

II Corinthians 12:8,9 "For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

Therefore, I must thank God for helping me to wholeheartedly search for the truth of his word as he intended it when he inspired man to write it.
