Who was the third country to have the atomic bomb?
The third country to be legally accused of having nuclear weapons was the United Kingdom, right after the United States and the Former Soviet Union.
What weapons did they use at gallipoli?
Artillery like howitzers, naval guns from battleships and from the Turkish forts along the Dardenelles. Allied forces used .303 calibre Lee Enfield rifles. Some Turks used German Mausers. Machine guns for the Allies were usually Lewis guns. For the Turks there were some German Spandaus. There were also bombs. The Anzacs usually made home-made ones out of jam-tins and bits of metal.
When was the first nuclear bomb invented?
The atomic bomb was invented in 1933 by Leo Szilard while crossing a street in London and patented the following year. For many reasons he was not able to build it at the time by himself.
It took 12 years before the US was able to build the first atomic bombs and use them to end WW2.

When and where was an atom bomb using plutonium first tested?
Alamogordo, New Mexico, USA - 16 July 1945.
How much did it cost to make the GBU-43 bomb?
No one seems to know. Apparently its a big secret what our tax dollars have been used for.
What are Plutonium atomic bombs?
Plutonium was and still is used for atomic bombs. The atomic bombs you are talking about would be fat man and little boy. They were the two used to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki Many people were killed when the b-29 bomber dropped fat man.
What plane dropped the nuclear bomb in World War 2?
The Enola Gay dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945.
The bomber named Bockscar dropped the bomb on Nagasaki on August 9. Both aircraft were B-29 bombers that operated from a special unit; the 509th Composite Bomb Group.
Over the years, there has been some confusion concerning the name of the bomber that dropped the bomb on Nagasaki. Some have claimed the plane was named Bock's Car or Bocks Car. The name that appears on the front of the plane is Bockscar. The plane was originally assigned to Captain Frederick C. Bock. However, due a mix-up regarding how each of the mission's planes were equipped, Bockscar was flown by Sweeney instead of Bock.
See the related links for more information and a photo of Bockscar.
Should you have nuclear weapons?
I want one, if I could get certain restricted access materials I could design and build one. I expect my first attempt to be able to get a yield in the 20 to 40 kiloton range. I have already designed a simple explosive lens assembly and verified it would correctly focus the shockwave on the tamper. Also I did a simple computerized neutron diffusion model to verify chainreaction multiplication factors, including losses. Still need to do computer hydrodynamics study and a few miscellaneous details.
Scary isn't it how easy the design is!
I have detonated numerous weapons, and am currently planning on using nuclear weapons in my quest for world domination
How do you build a nuclear bomb?
Ehh, child's play. Grab yourself a pound or two of plutonium, some detonating material, a good timer, and a box to put it all in. The trick isn't building the bomb, it's staying alive WHILE you build it. Plutonium is pretty nasty stuff. One false move and you become a blob of gooey jelly like stuff on the floor...
Or get about 20 lbs of Uranium- but be sure you ask for U-235, not U-238. Keep it separated into at least 2 pieces. When ready to use, fire one piece into the other piece. Much easier than the Plutonium implosion weapon, which actually requires explosive lenses, and REALLY good timing devices, called Klystrons. And the gooey jelly on the floor thing is overrated. You actually become gooey jelly on the ceiling.
Who was the first to make an atomic bomb?
The US developed the first nuclear fission weapons (atomic bombs) during World War II as part of the Manhattan Project, a top-secret military program that saw several firsts in nuclear chain reaction experiments. Through the work of many international physicists and other experts, the US exploded the first a-bomb near Alamogordo, New Mexico on July 16, 1945.
The following two bombs were used in August, 1945, against the Empire of Japan, destroying the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Would the topic psychological effects of nuclear weapons lend itself to a formal style of writing?
Yes, the topic of psychological effects of nuclear weapons would be suitable for a formal style of writing as it requires a scientific and analytical approach to explore the impact on individuals and societies. A formal style would help maintain objectivity and professionalism in discussing such a serious and complex subject.
How Have nuclear weapons changed the world?
They have made conflicts (wars) between major powers such as the US and Russia very unlikely. The cycle of major wars that plagued Europe for centuries has also stopped. Hopefully this will continue, but conflicts over dwindling natural resources may eventually arise.
Should nuclear weapons be banned?
Considering the fact that any competent Physics Grad student using publicly available data could design a workable fission bomb (getting the materials to build it is another issue) having a yield comparable to the ones detonated in WW2; it is impossible to ban nuclear weapons. If a country wanted them it will take them roughly 4 years to build the nuclear materials processing infrastructure to make the needed materials.
How many nukes are in The world?
The true amount of active and stockpiled WMDs in the world is unkown.
a list of the largest nuclear powers in terms of arsenal size is listed below
1) Russia
2) United States
3) Great Britain
4) China
5) Germany
6) France
7) India
8) Pakistan
9) N. Korea
*It is generally assumed that Israel has nuclear weapons but in small amounts, Iran and Iraq have been accused of developing a warhead but further intelligence is needed to confirm.
Source: The Bulletin of Atomic Scientists
To take a wild guess I would have to say that Russia and the U.S. make up for more than half of all warheads ever produced. And that the world has no more than 25,000 warheads active, stockpiled or awaiting dis-mantelment.

none
its a conspiricy
omg there is alot russia i think has over 2000 tell me if im wrong.
but IT IS NOT A CONSPIRICY bc if it was then what was little boy or fat man or all of thoese nuclear tests that have been going on.

Who discovered nuclear weapons?
Nuclear weapons were developed by scientists working in the U.S. during World War 2. We were the ones who first used them. A number of scientists around the world realized that a huge amount of energy could be developed very quickly by nuclear means, and this meant a weapon. This was known in the 30's, and almost certainly before that. The atomic bomb wasn't really "invented" by anyone in particular. It was the team put together by the U.S. that first put a bomb together and tested it. Then we built a pair of them and dropped them on Japan.
What do you do when a nuclear bomb goes off?
A) Most likely....you die.
B) Run to your airtight bomb shelter under ground that you can stay in for a decade.
C) Hope the bomb went off on the other side of the world, and it's a small one.
Atomic bombs cause massive destruction and devastation by releasing immense amounts of energy in the form of heat, blast waves, and radiation. The intense heat generated can vaporize everything in the immediate vicinity, while the powerful shockwave can obliterate buildings and infrastructure. The long-term effects of radiation exposure can lead to serious health issues, including cancer and genetic mutations.
When was the first nuclear-powered submarine launched?
The USS Nautilus (SSN-571) was launched on 21 January 1954. A link can be found below.
How much money does it cost to build an atomic bomb today?
The cost to build an atomic bomb today is difficult to estimate accurately, but it is likely in the billions of dollars due to the complexity and security measures involved. The costs include research and development, construction of facilities, obtaining necessary materials, and testing. Additionally, the cost could vary among countries.
Did Nikola Tesla invent the hydrogen bomb?
The Teller-Ulam design is the nuclear weapon design concept used in most of the world's nuclear weapons. Colloquially referred to as "the secret of the hydrogen bomb," because it employs hydrogen fusion to generate neutron. History doesn't have a patent from Tesla with a device with hydrogen that explodes but the Teller-Ulam design is aided by the Tesla Superconducting machine.
It is well recorded that through his experiments Tesla almost caused buildings to collapse through applied resonance to their structures. His theories in this regard explained how earthquake-force events could be artificially generated as a means to cause destruction. In addition, through his work in high-frequency high-voltage electrical currents, he was able to lay out the principles of particle beam weapons, and offered even to build one for the US military, dubbed the Tesla 'death ray' by the newspaper men of the day.
When was the Nuclear arms race?
1939 to 1989
The race began between Nazi Germany and England in 1939. The USSR began spying on the work in England.
Nazi Germany quietly withdrew about 1942 as the US entered and took over the work from England.
The US completed the first atomic bombs in 1945.
The USSR completed their first atomic bomb using info from their spies in 1949.
The nuclear arms race between the US and USSR officially ended in 1989.
